2022 Regulations - New Super Heat after Draw!!
Bluenose replied to Roger Jacobs's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Anybody tell me if the riders in the super heat would get paid for that heat or what?. Cause thinking of it the race result would not go against overall riding averages ?.?. -
If you are on FB you can watch some of James,s races!.

Perhaps we are after the same two that Belle Vue are after ?. And they would be doubling up?.

Championship Streaming Channel
Bluenose replied to Marksman's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I think it will help fans by being able to watch their teams away matches mainly. If you read the streaming services operations in place last season, they were "if you live in an area of a streamed match,it will not be streamed to that area." So making sure attendances at tracks will not be affected, but will draw profits to all clubs on non away supporters attendance. -
Slick track. Looking back to when the Brummies came back in 1971 , over the road. First season we won 13 drew 1 lost 2 , on a NEW track. Indeed the first home match was a late start in May. Don,t worry me if we win every home match. By the way , in 1971 we lost the first 3 away matches by at least 30 points a match. Watched Brum then and will watch T I D.

A few months ago , i read that a few riders had told Lawrence that they would like to ride for the team this season. As for the Bad team last season, it was not that bad, just riders missing for overseas commitments, and one rider not with the right temperament !. They will do better than last season.

Formed originally in 1948, under the authority of the RAC (Royal Automobile Club) the SCB was known as the Speedway Control Board, a title that stood until 2003.At that time, the RAC, through it’s subsidiary, the Motor Sports Association (MSA) relinquished their involvement and the Auto-Cycle Union, which was formed in 1903 had the sole responsibility in Great Britain for 2-wheeled motor sport.Subsequently the SCB was re-named as the Speedway Control Bureau and is authorised by the Auto Cycle Union to act as the recognised Governing Body for Speedway racing in Great Britain.Accordingly, each season the SCB produces a Rule Book entitled The Speedway Regulations, that covers all the rules applicable to the sport in Great Britain. It is available in booklet form at a small cost from the SCB Office or as a free download from the SCB Website www.scbgb.co.uk -

good / BAD /UGLY I sent an email to the BSPL yesterday asking why a Premier club have reported to have signed 3 riders but are waiting for the AGM to see what actually are the league / points limit situation is ? so as to be able to sign the remaining riders then. But a Championship club reported yesterday they have signed 5 riders straight off, no waiting for AGM?. I asked "was it fair ?" that certain teams could sign who they liked and when they liked and other teams are actually waiting for official information from the League Meeting. I Got an email back same day , because i said i was a Brum fan and worried he said he hoped Brum will carry on.. but no answer from Mr Vatcher about my original question!. I thought it a fair question to ask. -
