Good Idea robin les = No it would be simple to pool all the semi-final & final income & divide on a % basis between the 3 teams. What about this ??? ...................................................( don,t laugh) Top 3 to play-offs. week 1 P/O match 1 1st place team versus 3rd place team week 2 P/O match 2 2nd place team versus 3rd place team week 3 P/O match 3 1st place team versus 2nd place team Usual points awarded as in the league. So the 1st placed team gets 2 home matches,2nd gets 1 home match and the 3rd place gets a chance to get some real glory !!! 3 weeks on BT, i think it would be good to watch with teams trying to get the extra point ! I AGREE 4 teams in the play offs is Naff,and also the play offs would be like the standard league match with T Subs (got to standardise Speedway rules) the league does not use aggregate scores in the regular season. Again don,t laugh !!

To add to all that has been written.... Is there not a rule that ALL teams must ride all there fixtures Champs Workington and Eastbourne did not ride their quota! (are they going to be disciplined??) Workington home to Lakeside, Lakeside could of finished 2nd if they had won away,(records are records!!) Eastbourne home to Mildenhall result would not change league positions. It is unfair to away teams because of lack of planning. Surely this should be sorted first !!!! Imagine Man city playing 1 game less and Man utd winning the league by 2 points. Fixtures set at start of season must have set open dates to run the fixture if postponed!!

Honest John,great thinking,read every line ,i thought along the same lines as you , right lets go. 1 6 Man teams plus 2 NL (experienced) squad members 2 Up to 45 point limit 3 No 8 point rider limit 4 15 Heat Format 5 2 Tacci Subs a match(6 points behind and 8 points behind).................. plus Injured Rider Replacement (seems logical with only 6 riders) 6 Northern Championship ( 8 or 9 teams ) Southern Championship (8 or 9 teams) 7 Guest only allowed for the number 1,guest to come from opposite division. 8 As John said top 4 teams from each league form Premier League.,bottom 5 to form Championship. 9 Area cups to be finished by switch................ Prem/Champ cups to be held after all league matches completed. 10 Good Idea ...................................( Prem / Champ cups could be 4 team matches as to stop fixture congestion) 11 Teams put in National League who cannot get all fixtures planned in(not enough dates ?)

PTBAB , what has Mr Rogers done,you sound like ( Adonis ) at the start of the season having a go at him on here !!!!! Nearly all of the 7 named in the team in March are still injured ,how are you to win anything when you have no luck like that ??. You sound as if you are a V***A fan. Ok guys and gals, it was just an idea. ( got excited blues beating leeds ) What about 2 teams of ex Brummies facing off or is that 14 guests ? Either the Brummies want a meeting or not i read they do.

3 Team tourney sounds good, Brum / Cradley / Coventry Should bring in a full house, add some guests to the sides to make it better, Barker,Harris,Nicholls etc..

Should NOT be a cutoff date, should run speedway on the lines of cricket, after all cricket is not played in the rain mainly, fixture dates sorted at start of season , all teams should say yea or ney to dates, no Buxton ETC trying to catch up and no Double Headers, I think it would work, fans would be better prepared,work etc, give teams 1 point each for a rainoff.!!!! All fixtures would then all be completed by the playoff dates which would work around the weather....

My fave race was at Perry Barr 2013 when Brum finished top of the pile ,we never lead the match against Peterboro but the last race was a cracker,Barker went round the boards with King on the inside ,Buckowski 3rd and Bjerre last ,somebody on Updates commented (Absolutely sensational! The place is banging! Bluejam says he needs to get his breath back after a monster of a heat! PB has just gone off the richter scale! Amazing!) We had won 46 -----44 after all that we beat Wolves in the semi final and got slaughtered in the Grand Final by Poole!!!

This previously required riders to remain astride their machines when preparing their Start area.With agreement from members of the BSPA Management Committee, the SCB have decided that Regulation 15.2.6 will revert back to the wording as per the 2017 Regulations. It therefore now reads:15.2.6 Only if a rider is at the Starting Gate with sufficient time remaining of the 2-minute allowance, be permitted to prepare their Start Area, provided they remain in full, personal control of their motorcycle, have their Cut – Out Lanyard attached, and with their motorcycle facing the direction of racing.
