RIP Bernie By far an unsung superstar in my early days watching speedway. I might be wrong but was Bernie the one and only world wrong way round speedway champion?

Am I missing something here but is reserve riders the 2 lowest average in the team overall so somebody has to replace riders that get excluded or injured during a meeting? If a "reserve" has a couple of good meetings they won't there for long anyway. If it works for a while for the team then hey ho

Until British speedway use riders who are committed to weekly meetings over here it will get worse.

Think people getting confused here. In the good old days riders were only excluded when the tapes were broken (had to ride thru em) hence they could afford to roll start. Today they would not be able to touch.

Don't worry about apologies more people to read this so hopefully someone will get rid of this stupid rule as it is at the moment. Let's make it simple touch the tapes your out no questions
