  1. I thought Bowtell deserved the win in heat 12 .He rode better in the previous 3 heats than 0 0 0 suggests.
  2. Ash was superb for Birmingham last night . His form has really picked up last few meetings 8,10 and 11 hopefully he can carry that over too you boys .
  3. Zach really struggled in the championship last night his confidence looks absolutely shot . There are a few at Birmingham who are suggesting he takes time out . Riding at 3 and 5 for Brum has done him no favours tbf.
  4. Becker would come in on a 6.00 average would be great to see him down Perry Barr .
  5. Have to agree with you here hobbit when you initially made the point i did not agree .But i took your opinion in and in the 3 or 4 meetings since you are spot on. Too the point where it is glaringly obvious to be honest . If he makes the gate he has the machinery to stay out in front but if he does not then he ends up been far quicker than the rider in front of him but for some reason shutting off when he gets within a bikes lengh . RE: Rogers i also agree he should just stick the the m/sdl . He may be a lovely fella but Speedway management is not for him as his appalling record shows .
  6. Brummies rode well i thought was a decent meeting . Poor crowd but better than i expected tbh. I think that is the last we see of Ulrich before the averages change . Whatever his issues he needs replacing he has been dreadful since signing. Nathan Stoneman was superb in fact other than Zach and Ulrich the other 5 were superb . Having a Number 1 that can bang in 13 points makes such a huge huge difference to us now.
  7. Yes he or she does . A doctors note is required to be sent in to the ACU before the rider can return to action.
  8. Yeah there by far the best 6&7 in the league .Its a huge advantage .Hence the 15 points between them compared to the oppositions 6.7 &8 scoring a combined 2 .
  9. Unfortunate but the concussion rule is without a shadow of a doubt required in sport and this sport in particular .
  10. Well that was extremely disappointing . Ulrich well what can i say ?
  11. And prove himself he certainly has, in his quiet unassuming way . He is one of British speedways most popular riders and a credit to you. i do not think i have ever heard a bad word about him.
  12. Comfy home win tbh . Adam cannot take a r/r so with Ulrich likely to be taking 5-6 rides we need him on form big time another poor showing from him would be very disappointing. Leicester have started the season on fire and as most expected should end the season up the top end of the table. So anything from this meeting would be unexpected and a huge bonus . Prediction : 50-40
  13. Pretty poor tbh not big enough to sustain championship speedway i would suggest . At a guess another 200 -300 paying spectators would be required.
  14. What 7th of 11 ??? What a peculiar person you are . You seem to be a very angry little man .What is your issue with Birmingham or do you just have issues with life in general ?
  15. Great news about josh about Josh it sounds like he is just battered and bruised mainly (tough kids these speedway riders ) i assume he will now have the standard 7-9 day concussion period which will give him a nice bit of time to recoup. Now that incident has come to a satisfactory end (as well as hoped anyway) lets talk about the meeting . Birmingham were Brilliant From start to finish and in all honesty we should of won by more Shanes snapped a sprocket last lap when leading. Ulrich packed up when in a comfortable 3rd. Adam Ellis - Imperious head and shoulders above anymore with a couple of great passes James Shanes- scored 5 but deserved much more . This is the James we expected this season Zach Waj- If he gated he won if he didn't he was last . I get Hobbits point he made a few weeks back he never really goes for the gaps 100% committed. Ashley Morris -Was superb always chasing when behind and team rode superbly when out in front. Ulrich Ostergaard - Poor very poor.Had bike issues couldn't get out the gate looked ill prepared before every race with his mechanic on the start line . Paco Castagna- Brilliant evening for Paco and probably his best in British speedway so far. Nathan Stoneman- Well what can i say scored 4 points deserved more . scored double his average. Loads of effort always trying . Many will point to the very poor performance from Edinburgh and yes they may have a point . But as i pointed out before the meeting we are better at reserve and better at number 1 so it only need a couple of the other 4 riders to put in a good performance for a comfortable win. This Birmingham team has far more balance to it still not sure it will win many away but should be enough to win a few home meeting.
  16. Can only tell you from my view (a poor one ) straightened up after bend 2 then was propelled off his bike mid straight . The riders were bunched 2-3 of them coming off the exit of bend 2 but for me it looked like a chain as his bike seemed to stop suddenly and he got tangled in it . Awful Awful Awful made unpleasant viewing .
