I think your right on both accounts here but that is just my reading between the lines opinion. The club have made it a stick or twist situation set a headline and produced a online poster for it . Would they have gone to this trouble if the outcome was to stick knowing that it would only be met with huge disappointment. Also Tom Bacon look at his sponsorship packages on his social media covered in Brummies race stuff every photo is in a Brummies race suit might mean nothing but we will see.

I dont really understand this lowering points to let talent through it seems a load of nonsense to me as long as the points limit is not ridiculously high.If the points limit was say 42.5in the NL do you think kent would not of signed dan gilkes or the thompson twins going to leicester ??? Do me a favour talent will always find its way through.. the low ponits limit just means we have to watch the likes of ryan mcdonald,jamie laker,aaron butcher ,kiearon douglas and joe alcock trail round half a lap behind everybody else ...all a low point limit does is cut out a young decent rider who has done well and make you select a rider who is useless but for some reason the future utter joke.

also you might as well hand Kent the trophy now be surprised if they lose a meeting all season if there reserves stay fit until the first set of averages come out in whole its a pretty pointless league tbh just hope were not in it.. By the way Kent fans im not saying you have done anything wrong and fair play to yous but we all know your starting reserve pair on a combined 5.5 average will end up been around the 15 mark..

exactly my point sings it just makes out for strung out races if you can call them races fill your programme before the heat stuff..

Agree with the most comments above . It cant be a PR disaster on our (the clubs) behalf as nothing has been said or done in order to make a disaster as far as i am aware from the club. As said above by many it was the seed that was planted that had left us somewhat deflated and to pick up the enthusiasm for another season in the NL and most likely the poorest one by far in our time in the this league is going to be difficult and tbh take some doing . I mean first signing Kent a 47 year old man on a 3.5 average who will end on a 7-8.00 average i just dont think i can be bothered anymore i have even noticed on twitter a few riders commenting that its utterly ridiculous but there you go ...

I think your right sings we could be forced to stay to make the numbers up but i fear it may be the beginning of the end for brum speedway the 2019 NL will be worse than ever and at tops £6-7 product . like i have said before the racing is so predictable and strung out people will keep dwindling away..

Lee has responded to a few fans tweets and is not ruling out stepping up a league he is just saying nothing has been decided yet for sure contrary to reports. It would appear that Harkness has put his foot in it a little and maybe the british speedway press release should not of mentioned that two NL clubs were stepping up just at this moment in time. Although it does not help clubs at all selling or pricing up season tickets if they dont know how many fixtures there selling particularly with them making great xmas gifts etc ..

Seems that the strong rumours are Brummies and Eagles to come up for the 2019 season.. Looking at potential team building it looks like a effort has been made to reduce cost a fair amount for this second tier with teams using many more NL riders from last years lot than ever before.
