Coventry v Eastbourne Play Offs.
ProudtobeaBrummie replied to Woz01's topic in National League Speedway
oh come on a 32 point limit and a 6.5 point gap is just madness surely it would put alot of riders out of work as we know the gap is between tier 2 and 3 is huge it would just be bigger with many falling into the huge void between the 2 leagues. -
How have the young guns done in 2018.?
ProudtobeaBrummie replied to Sidney the robin's topic in National League Speedway
Question is which ones will or are capable of stepping up to a championship reserve birth next season Kemp- already has no brainer . Thomas- has been at Glasgow this season possibly a year too early but hopefully they stick with him and kick on Flint - could do a job at number 7 possibly for berwick . No Pressure he could chip in with 2/3 points a meeting Mountain/ Hume - Already relatively established champ riders Bickley - been at workington this season not really kicked on from last season again i think a season to early maybe Of the others i expect only Brennan and Jenkins to make the step up in 2019 and it will be tough for them guys also.. -
Thoughts on 2018 Season
ProudtobeaBrummie replied to ProudtobeaBrummie's topic in National League Speedway
yes spooner has improved massively and will be a big test next season if he can step up again when in the main body . He struggled as reserve last year ,proved himself one of the better reserves this year so if he could continue next year into a reliable second string he will of had another good season .. -
No wonder you do not have a clue what is going on and cocked up all the permutations if you want to be popular in British speedways lowest league fair enough but step down as Brummies manager why try do everything when your not successful at anything. Seems bizarre to me your just a fan like everyone on here over compensating for your lack of knowledge by been a lap dog...

Thoughts on 2018 Season
ProudtobeaBrummie replied to ProudtobeaBrummie's topic in National League Speedway
He is 10/10 around Arlington and has a average of 11.00 but away from there he has a 3.52 lower average of 7.48 as opposed to the three i mentioned they were ripping it up on every track they visited pretty much . When wood came to Birmingham earlier this season he only scored 6 from 5 winning zero races.. Also wood has not managed to improve his 2nd tier average when the 3 i have mentioned have all improved there average and also all 3 have won top tier races this season. By the way i am not saying Georgie Wood has not had a good season b i just think 3 i have mentioned have stood out more than others . -
Now i know the play offs haven't been complete but Milldenhall are the champions in my eyes (maybe not others) regardless of what happens . Having watched almost every rider in the league at least twice this season most ive seen 3+ The riders who have impressed me most are Drew Kemp - Incredible first season as many predicted but finished of even hitting good scores in the 2nd tier Leon Flint - First season has been brilliant although spent too long at reserve and with his average same as kemps think it is maybe a point too high. Alfie Bowtell - really kicked on this season incredible to think he didn't have a club at the start of the season on a 6.4 just crazy . Tom Bacon -Connor Mountain -James Shanes --- Have looked unbeatable at times and all three i expect to have rode themselves out this league and move to higher tiers. Ellis Perks - i know this my not be popular and love winding him up but he gives hes all whenever i see him good to watch and always competitive Danny Ayres - never used to be overly keen but as above hardly ever fails to deliver. Richard Andrews -Ended the season Brilliantly rode like a heat leader at times. Anders Rowe - has improved every time i have seen him Expect him to end next season as a No1 . Riders who Dissapointed.. Tom Perry - was poor on his perry barr visits hardly won a race in his 3 or 4 visits and dropped a point off hes average . Rob Shuttelworth- Well after a fabulous 2017 dropping best part of 3 points of his average something has seriously gone wrong. Max Clegg - Slowly been in decline since winning the u19s although form has picked up the last month All Birmingham's reserves other than Leon flint. Riders on Value averages for 2019 Max Clegg Connor Coles Richard Andrews

Yes i do Steve you beat him in the first round . That was Daves first ever offical PDC match he won the chance to play in the worlds in through a competition in the daily star then continued after that that for a few years as you probably know he has moved to Australia now but still playing darts and qualified for the worlds the last couple of years . Met some fantastic people and some great characters in and around the darts world there would often be a late night card school in the hotel for a few quid . -
