Sorry to cause you so much pain reading 3 comments about another club . My Apologies but i was only responding to a comment posted on this thread . The attitude and narrow mindedness of speedway fans is partly the reason the sport is in disarray . Imagine not even having the capability to let a conversation deviate .

There are a few pictures on the Brummies social media somewhere of theses works . Whilst i do not always agree with h/&s i do on this occasion. Considering the average age of the fans and the fact it can sometimes be pitch black when exiting the stadium . I feel the works necessary and sensible .

The temporary stands have voids on the step risers . these have all had steel plates cut and fixed to cover voids . they also have a anti slip rubber matting on which have also had to be replaced. damaged nosing replaced with new . While not huge costs granted still a cost for no return .

From what i understand we had a visit from the health and safety officer . As you may or may not know when they pick up certain things you have a period of time to show you have or are acting upon them , Birmingham Speedway been responsible done the necessary work immediately .

Has the final rider been announced for plymouth yet ?

I am feeling quite optimistic now .The more i look at our team the more excited i get for the new season . I expect some cracking meetings at injury's permitting a play off finish in 4th-6th position.

He is not but if you like ask him if anyone sorted the main team sponsor out for him when the clubs reputation was in tatters . In fact if you watch the itv news clip of the sponsor being unveiled (on youtube ) the main sponsor actually says it was a family member who sorted the deal out .

I am not . I am not sure why it says that to be honest . What i have not done though is ask for a plaque or constant recognition for bringing lots of sponsorship to Birmingham speedway over recent years including securing the main team sponsor for 3 consecutive years .

Self Indulgence at its finest . Why anyone would moan about additional income into their club is beyond me .

So Laurence Fielding in to assist Lawrence Rogers . What do we think ? Personally i think he needs help tactically, so hopefully he has enough tactical know how to help him making in play switches if/when required. I do not know too much about Fielding but wish him all the best .
