is it looking certain that Hall & Wells will be our final two ? I like the risks of signing Albin & Koppe, bit more adventurous and less predictable, which i for one prefer. Just concerned about Hall, would rather final two riders be Wells & Poole. Or even Wells & Nedermark.
-
I agree, would love to see Poole in a Sheffield racejacket, will it happen though ? im pretty certain though that the next two will deffo be hall & wells, leaving the final place tuntil probably after christmas.
-
This is just a wild shot and possibly a bit of wishful thinking, but what average would Pontus Aspgren drop down on?
-
On the lookout for a Sheffield Tigers racejacket, I need the 2012 racejacket, 2004, 2003 & 2002 race jackets. if anyone has any of these or can help please let me know, thanks.

Young Bollards should definitely be given a go on a 3.00, he could easily achieve a 5.00 or higher. Suprised he hasnt been snapped up yet.
-
never joke about riders like that coming back, because we all know theres a chance anything could happen with tigers team building LOL! If the promo had their way 100% without us fans voicing our deep concerns then the team for 2013 would be: Josef Franc Ritchie Hawkins Richard Hall Emiliano Sanchez Ben Wilson Paul Cooper James Cockle Sheffield "Cheap As Chips" Tigers !
-
Wells and Poole would be welcome additions for me. Sanchez = No thanks, been there, done that, never going to get better, but saying that, isnt that what the tigers go for ;-)

1, Craig Cook 7.76. 2, Emiliano Sanchez 5.83. 3. Cory Gathercole 6.59. 4, Filip Sitera 5, Dakota North 6.89. 6, Todd Kurtz 5.15. 7. Tom Bollards/ Joe Jacobs/ Paul Starke/ Henning Loof

I was watching through some meetings from the all conquering side of 2000+ and I must admit, When Nigel Pearson was the mic man he certainly got the crowds going, so much atmosphere in the stadium back then. I just think we need a team worth cheering for again, last season was a joke. The team that was put together did not have an out and out clear leader and it showed on the shale. Stead is back, and I am loving that, but what is it with the promotion and Richard Hall ? Hall has stated in the past that his away form is utter rubbish, so whats different now ? why not go with a more direct, exciting team with riders who are hungry and who can actually ride the away circuits ? we need to act fast because there are still a fair few good riders available, lets snap them up and get this team signed sealed and delivered. I;d say that out of the last four or five seasons the only team that was any good was 2011 (parker, ashworth etc..) since then the promo have bumbled, bodged, and thrown together cheapy crappy teams that are so safe and predictable it makes me sick, utter dross, remember the team combined with Cooper, Smethills, Martin ? what a shambles, how on earth did the management think we were going to win anything with that shower of dross ? I went to the Sheffield Scunthorpe match a few months back, and the atmosphere was so dull before the meeting, it was weird, you could honestly hear a rat p!ss on cotton it was that quiet. Lets hope the rest of the team building is a success. One man does not make a team, and if the team building continues to go the way it is, then we are heading for a butt whooping next season. I am sorry about the negativity posts, but i am a very passionate tigers fan and it pains me to see a club like sheffield with the facilities and the fastest track in Britain, serve up such safe, dross, dull same old same old teams year in year out.

I think 2 of the remaining 3 will be Hall & Wells, will take Wells back, but not Hall, im bored of Hall now but the promotion seem to absolutley love him??!? If Hall and Wells are next, then what points are we left to play with ?
-
Well I must admit I am slightly deflated, the signing of Stead is absolutley amazing, and I quite like the Koppe addition too, however when i look over the other sides that are being put together i cant help but think we are heading in the same old predictable "safe" route again, why are we bringing Hall back when there are other quality options available ? have we not been there and done that with Hall too many times? at the end of each season i get my hopes up thinking this is our year, and the same old dross is served up time after time after time. Very glad to see stead back, but as for the rest of the team i am worried., just my opinion.

kalle katajisto?
-
Grajczonek would be a welcome acquisition IMO
-
I like Jake Knight, however I fear he could just a little bit out of his depth, reminds me a bit of the Sam Martin signing.
-
wells = yes, hall, sanchez, franc = no thank you. As posters have rightly said above, it would be pointless signing stead if those riders were to return. It baffles me as to how the promotion cannot see that Hall isnt going to ever get any better, and that it would disappoint many fans by bringing him back. Hall needs a change of scenery, lets hit it big time and bring in Lemon in my opinion.
-
Hi All, if we had this then I would be over the moon to be honest: 1.stead 2.haines 3.wells 4.skidmore/ Nedermark 5.lemon 6.koppe 7.Nielsen/ Jacobs/ Sarjeant I have also heard Sheffield are in negotiations with Richard Hall, on a personal note i hope that is not true, and i am sure a majority of Tigers fans would agree with me, I like Richard, but we have been there too many times now and nothing has changed. Lemon would be a superb acquisition if he is still available.
-
Absolutley over the moon that Steady is coming home. Cannot wait to see him back in a Sheffield race jacket. I think that the next signing will be Skidmore, Wells or even Hall. Agree with the above post that there arent many heat leaders left so i would like to see the complete jigsaw sooner rather than later. With regards, to the bottom end, Nielsen or jacobs or maybe even Sarjeant couldt well be worth a shout. great start.
-
if hall returned, along with franc or sanchez then i would not !
-
Just read the latest in the star from Hoggy, why on earth are they waiting to see if Swindon will be using Simon Stead next year if they have released him? SIGN HIM NOW, we need Steady so badly next season.
-
I predict that the next signing will be one of Ricky Wells or Hugh Skidmore. I also hope the promotion do everything they can to bring Simon Stead back,. he is the spark we need and a good leader.
-
Hi all, Ive got a sneaky feeling that it isnt going to be stead. ive got a feeling that we could be in for Screeny to lead us next season. There is also a part of me that isnt ruling out Mason Campton being at Sheffield next season.

Hello all, new poster here and very happy to be here, thought id jump on the bandwagon, here is what i am expecting for next season and could do ok if it clicked: Ricky Ashworth Hugh Skidmore Ben Wilson RIcky Wells Richard Hall Joe Haines James Sarjeant/ Joe Jacobs
