  1. Loving Rich Lawson, riding really great, confidence is up and he is beginning to nail the Owlerton track, A Tiger one day perhaps ? :-)
  2. Looking forward to this one, and also lookiing forward to seeing Andre back at Owlerton.
  3. i cant see us signing a number 1 if I'm honest, just cant see it. R/R for remainder of season methinks.
  4. bit of a bizarre one that if its true, hall's form has dipped a bit of late, due to injuries obviously. however look at how he started the season, he was in blistering form. would have preferred haines to be dropped IMO, but thats just my opinion
  5. Have to say i totally agree with what is being said on here. Things seem to be sliding down hill fast at the moment and there are a lot of disgruntled fans, and rightly so. I see other teams making important, ambitious signings, and for some reason Sheffield always seem to be left languishing and making do with riders that at the moment aren't really up to it. I hope I don't get shot again for posting this, but as a paying supporter for many years, im just a little concerned thats all...
  6. dont really follow EL (before i get shot down in a wrath of fury and rage) - but here's a long shot.... Kenni Larsen.
  7. Wolbert & Kling are the names ive heard thrown around.
  8. Gutted for Steady, will be sorely missed. So what now? just as the team takes solid shape with the signing of Roynon this happens! Will we run R/R or will a stand in rider be drafted in on a temp basis?
  9. Albin will be a force to be reckoned with at reserve, with Koppe's form lifting then i think these two down at reserve could be devastating for opposition.
  10. Welcome Adam, you deserve a good solid run and I wish you all the best with the Sheffield Tigers.
  11. some of the posts ive read on here make mine look tame ! really excited to see who our new boy is going to be, thinking Roynon personally.
  12. I feel gutted for Jake as he seems like a sound honest lad, but the team did need changes. I wish jake all the best with his future plans.
  13. I wouldnt be suprised if Jake Knight made way for either Adam Roynon or Emiliano Sanchez. This is a bit of wishful thinking but what average would Artur Mrozcka come in at?
  14. This is my first post in a while! I think team changes do need to happen sooner rather than later now. Personally I think that Jake Knight is going to make way for either Adam Roynon or Emiliano Sanchez.
  15. Roynon to Sheffield. Jake Knight - Out Adam Roynon - In
  16. Craig Cook Simon Stead Micky Dyer Lewis Kerr Richie Worrall Jason Doyle
  17. what a meeting, although i thought the ref was a bit of a ball bag at times. some un satisfactory starts which i thought were ok? congrats to the team, management and fans on this one. what a meeting. well deserved.
  18. Big shout out to Damien Koppe tonight, took his critics on the chin and is riding beautifully this evening, you go Damo, all the best mate and you deserve it.
  19. Get your #OdsalBoy T-Shirts at the track shop as of 7:00pm. I'll also be there signing them for all interested.
  20. Hey ho, its all blown over now, and i can guarantee there will be no more pre meeting weather reports from Leeds :-). Go Tigers !
  21. I cant wait for this meeting, go on Sheffield. I feel good times lay ahead. Lets get behind the boys and the management. Simon Stead: Simon will be thrilled to be back - theres no doubt about it. Simon will want to "take the bull by the horns" as they say. Our talismanic skipper will lead the team by example, may be a little rusty but Im sure Simon has got a few points up his sleeve. Joe Haines: Riding at the number 2 position might just give Joe the shot of confidence he needs. I feel young Joe will be rejuvinated, excited and ready to get amongst the points tomorrow. I hope Joe goes for it. Looking at the Berwick lineup I can see a few riders that Joe is more than capable of beating on home shale. Ricky Wells: Riding at number 3 wont phase Ricky at all, he's in good attractive form at the moment and he can more than hold his own in this position. Ricky i feel will more than put in a handy shift tomorrow. Oppostion riders will find him tough to break down. He's my man to watch tomorrow. Richard Hall: Richard will be feeling a bit better after a run out last week. Richard on Owlerton shale is hard to beat, especially now his mate Steady is back in the pits, handing out useful pointers. Richard to be in the mix tomorrow. Facundo Albin: New test, new challenge, new times for Albin. Ive got a gut feeling here that he is going to relish this heat leader role and suprise a few people. I really rate Albin and I hope he gets a good amount of points tomorrow - he deserves it. Go Facu ! Thrill ! Damien Koppe: I watched a youtube clip of Damo's heat 2 win last week, and he looked the part. Quick out of the gate, held his own in the first corner bunch, got his head down and smashed in a win. Time could be the tonic for Damien, all the best to him, hope he just goes for it tomorrow and i wish him many points. Jake Knight: Jake will give it his all and continue to make steady but solid progress. Hope that hasnt offended anyone.
  22. what actually happened ? was the announcer's rant made over the microphone or was it just to a fan/ fans in the stands ?
  23. I would like to think also that I do get an apology too. At the end of the day it was only a view/ opinion. I most certainly didnt mean to hurt anyone. As a paying supporter for a good few years i never once thought id be publicly singled out and pretty much told to shut the f**k up as the updates poster stated.
