  1. If only Robert had signed (for what ever reason he didnt) what a heat leader duo that would have been, obviously has a liking for the Rye track, not many riders are going to do to Eddie what he did on Saturday.
  2. I'm not down hearted, the atmosphere is much better this season. It's just that when you see other teams strengthening, I just wish that we would do the same. You say that things don't happen overnight! What about Glasgow last year?
  3. Why the hell MPT wasn't signed when he became available is beyond belief, he rides our track better than most. Can only see another year of mediocrity. Maybe next year!
  4. Rye House use to have a full second half programme, unfortunately there is very little speedway after the main match these days not sure why.
  5. I left after a couple years of the Raiders match, as you said if it's not going to be competitive share the point.I hope the promotion don't take after the last and keep on serving up crap. Should have read heats
  6. The long tail of the Raiders has hurt us again. Well done to Ben in both matches. Rob rode well for the Rockets but appeared to suffer a bit for the Raiders. Macauley looked a little out of his depth for first time since he arrived. Connor and Kenny, no comment. There must be better alternatives out there somewhere. People have said that this is the league to blood the youngsters, I agree but you can't expect the crowds to stay watching a losing side.
  7. Danyon and Alfie did fall on numerous occasions last year, the difference is they were on the pace usually, not at the back with no one to beat.
  8. I agree Waco, Connor Locke can't stay on a bike to save his life.
  9. If only we had more strength in depth. Well done the raiders
  10. Does anyone know if Leigh Lanham will be fit for Monday's meeting?
  11. Dan Bewley rode really well, soon sussed out the Rye track, listed to him going into the bends, most of the time was throttle fully wound on. It would seem the best way to ride it is to attack it. What a start to his career in speedway. Good to have George back, unlucky Macauley Leek, Connor Locke looks better every time I see him, but ultimately cost us a point by not being able to stay on his bike.
  12. Something needs to be done, Karger clearly is not up to the Premier League standard. The days of beating most teams by 50 odd points at home are long gone and although the draw on Monday gave us some good racing we don't want draws and losses at home. One of the best riders in the league-Eddie can't keep carrying the team as he has done the last three years. Crowds will inevitably windle and the investment in the stadium will be a waste of time.
  13. Well done Macauley Leek, part of the Raiders setup, hope all goes well on Sunday.
  14. What a shower the BSPA are prove to be inept time after time. We'll done whoever you no marks are. Best intrested of the sport my arse.
  15. I think they would make a good reserve pairing, as you said seems to care about the team he's riding for, definitely not one to pull out of a challenge.
  16. The promotion should act like Peterborough have done. Show the paying public some respect and give us a product worth watching. Rob Branford would be a much better option at reserve, he never knows when he's beat and is a great team player.

  18. Well done to the Raiders. Rob Branford is a joy to watch, great team rider and unbeaten. Macauley Leek, great effort and useful points. Ben and Luke rode well.
  19. The crowd size is a bit different than last season then?Andrew Silver made all the difference last year, one of finds coming back to haunt us!
