Well done Eddie, his usual brilliant self. Cameron well done only beaten by the ref Leigh brilliant team riding again. Robbie great ride until taken by an audience who is dangerous. Mr Holder you would do well to watch Leigh Langham who is competitive without trying to have other riders off. Ben rode well again. Kacper another good meeting. Peter trying hard again. Well done the Rockets. All injury free despite Holders best efforts. Well done Eddie, his usual brilliant self. Cameron well done only beaten by the ref Leigh brilliant team riding again. How the hell does Barbara Horley keep her job as a referee? She couldn't make a correct decision if her life depended it. -

At the track now, just had another brief shower, now sunny and warm. If Peter did go, who would fill his place? -

All the enthusiasm of last season has gone. Really enjoyed watching the Raiders last year, unfortunately same can't be said for this. -

Unlucky to the Raiders tonight. If only ours top three had some backup. I know the younger lads need to learn, but the promotion need to do something to improve the side. No body likes to watch your team get beat or ride in such a team. -

If only Robert had signed (for what ever reason he didnt) what a heat leader duo that would have been, obviously has a liking for the Rye track, not many riders are going to do to Eddie what he did on Saturday. -

I'm not down hearted, the atmosphere is much better this season. It's just that when you see other teams strengthening, I just wish that we would do the same. You say that things don't happen overnight! What about Glasgow last year? -

Why the hell MPT wasn't signed when he became available is beyond belief, he rides our track better than most. Can only see another year of mediocrity. Maybe next year! -
Rye House use to have a full second half programme, unfortunately there is very little speedway after the main match these days not sure why.

I left after a couple years of the Raiders match, as you said if it's not going to be competitive share the point.I hope the promotion don't take after the last and keep on serving up crap. Should have read heats -

The long tail of the Raiders has hurt us again. Well done to Ben in both matches. Rob rode well for the Rockets but appeared to suffer a bit for the Raiders. Macauley looked a little out of his depth for first time since he arrived. Connor and Kenny, no comment. There must be better alternatives out there somewhere. People have said that this is the league to blood the youngsters, I agree but you can't expect the crowds to stay watching a losing side. -
Danyon and Alfie did fall on numerous occasions last year, the difference is they were on the pace usually, not at the back with no one to beat.
-
I agree Waco, Connor Locke can't stay on a bike to save his life.
-
If only we had more strength in depth. Well done the raiders

Does anyone know if Leigh Lanham will be fit for Monday's meeting?

Dan Bewley rode really well, soon sussed out the Rye track, listed to him going into the bends, most of the time was throttle fully wound on. It would seem the best way to ride it is to attack it. What a start to his career in speedway. Good to have George back, unlucky Macauley Leek, Connor Locke looks better every time I see him, but ultimately cost us a point by not being able to stay on his bike.
