  1. Yes, everyone knows, and David admits, that his equipment was below par in the play offs, but the point is, he’s committted to Swindon and British speedway, it’s his first choice league with his best equipment, not a part-time filler, like it is for Poole’s new Poles. You’d have thought Matt would have learnt, especially with KK this year, but he hasn’t. They’ll show some promise to start, then fall away when Poland kicks in.
  2. They’re about the standard of Huckenbeck, who looks OK on the continent but is poor here. No commitment to British speedway, sub-standard equipment, no interest in Poole other than filling their calendar until Poland starts.
  3. They couldn’t get in the Sprockets, let alone the reigning Champions, but they’d have boosted the sorry looking Pirates. What is Matt thinking? He did it before with Miskowiak and Baran and he’s done it again.
  4. Let’s hope Rosco hasn’t been dredging the dregs of the Polish barrels that seem popular at the moment
  5. You’d have been better off with Lahti and Kennett. Matt’s lost the plot again.
  6. Totally mediocre. Poole have thrown in the towel again. Rubbish.
  7. It’ll be Gomolski and Woryna zzzzzzzzzzzz
  8. Yep, of course he would; pinching another team’s asset as usual!
  9. .... unfortunately scuppered by the one eight pointer rule.
  10. Or the one season wonders, Mroczka, Milik, Gomolski ...... We’re already laughing at it. A top two of Kurtz and Grajczonek!!!! Hmmmm .... Poole or Sheffield? Lol
  11. And that’s exactly what’s wrong with so many businesses - a “them” and “us” attitude. Riders and promoters should unite, with fair pay according to means, longer contracts encouraging loyalty and a will to build a club brand that attracts and keeps fans.
  12. You’ve already said you’ll be signing journeymen so we’ll just have a laugh at your expense. Simples
  13. Poole teams always have journeymen, because Matt’s just an opportunist, stealing cheap riders from other teams, hiring and firing throughout the season and having no regard for loyalty. Look at all your one season wonders.
  14. To be fair, against Poole, we don’t normally need to win heats 13 & 15 .... unless we’re going for 60 points.
  15. Toddle off to your CL team, Shovvy.
  16. Batch has a higher average than Bellego so that doesn’t fit, CR!
  17. Well, if Buster is going along the lines of a “family” club, offering riders three year contracts, to create a brand that sponsors and fans can buy in to, fabulous. But he will have to carry the BSPA with him and prevent team-building averages from breaking up teams every year.
  18. Arbitrary. If Nicholls’ PL average converts to less than 12 for the CL, what’s the problem? Common sense tells there’s no difference between Harris and Nicholls.
  19. Having said that doubling up is good for the sport, I would prefer one big league with no doubling up! With the draft system and 2 point NL riders in the Premier League and reducing or no TV income to prop up the PL, the time has come.
  20. I disagree. Doubling up is good for the sport as long as the leagues have different race nights. It obviously saves costs for as many British riders as possible to ride in both leagues and will draw more young riders through because they can see they can make a proper living from speedway.
  21. Or Morris Ellis Holder Holder Musielak Wajknecht Nielsen
