Peterborough Panthers 2014
BluPanther replied to NeilWatson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The only difference is the Elite teams have one, or two in some cases, top line riders. Otherwise it's pretty close in quality, mainly because of so many double uppers. The Elite is still undoubtedly the strongest league, although the Premier does have some cracking race tracks which provide great racing. Both leagues will continue to have my support in 2014... -

James Easter Tells It Like It Is
BluPanther replied to TonyMac's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
It's probably safe to assume you have no idea of Bill's demands. One could assume that JB's motives were also of self interest interest, which would seem more likely. 'Fixing it' so Billy could not negotiate a better deal for himself elsewhere was completely out of order.. -

That is your opinion, but an inaccurate and misguided one.. -
James Easter Tells It Like It Is

I would not even take the time to read anything James Easter had to say. Just a shame Easter or Berry never thought enough of Billy Sanders to cough up the fare to repatriate him back to his native Australia after his tragic death.. -

Have you never heard of Disability allowance, Mobility schemes, Disabled parking, Disabled access etc etc. Is this not written in law by Parliament with the consensus of the people. That would suggest it has the backing of the majority, would it not...

You can normally judge a society on how they treat their disadvantaged citizens. Thankfully, the majority do not share your opinion these days..

41 years of watching speedway entitles you to a valid opinion in my book. Forum's are littered with people who think they know it all, but many actually know jack all .... -

You missed the point completely. I never said they are not ready, i said they probably wont stop riding Prem Lge for 2-3 years, in which case they are unlikely to be sold in that time.. -

Cam and Rohan have got a way to go before anyone's cheque book comes out imo. Fully expect them to be Prem Lge for at least two or three more years, and who knows what the League structures will look like by then. Selling them would certainly send out a negative message, but i cant see that happening in the near future.. -

No, it's up to the parent's if they go, they have a choice on how they spend their family leisure time, that's just parenthood. A disabled person that needs a registered carer does not have that choice, as they need assistance to do everyday things.
-
Disabled folk who need a registered carer in order to attend any event, should never have to pay for that carer. Its simply the decent thing to do, and Football and Rugby both adopt that policy..
-
At Peterborough you would be able to park inside the Showground if you present a blue badge, and only pay concession rate. I suggest you contact the club about carers. As far as i'm aware, Ipswich do not provide any discount for disabled people, which is a very short sighted policy..
