  1. Any idea why Richie was sprinting across the track at the beginning of ht15? Seemed to be looking for something on the 2nd bend
  2. Deciphering my scribbles in the programme, apologies for any errors as some moments were a little rushed and I started to lose light towards the end Ipswich - Connor King, Dylan Huthwaite, Austen Riches, Charlie Wood Mildenhall - Ryan Ingram (did not ride), Calum Mitchell, Harrison Rogers, Max Broadhurst 1 - Mitchell, Rogers, King (1-5, 69.2) - Huthwaite blew a chain 1st corner after leading from tapes 2 - Rogers, Riches (2-3, awarded) - Wood fell bend 1 lap 4 while leading, Broadhurst excluded at the tapes for no dirt deflector 3 - King, Rogers (3-2, 64.9) - Huthwaite 2 minutes exclusion, Broadhurst fell and cleared track 4 - Mictehll, Rogers, Riches (1-5. 66.6) - Wood retired early 5 - King, Broadhurst, Rogers (3-3, 63.4) - Huthwaite blew another chain bend 1, King 1st to really attack corners 6 - King, Mitchell, Broadhurst, Riches (3-3, 63.0) - King full of confidence and really attacking corners, Riches almost lapped
  3. I've got them at home so will try and dig them out later. Tried their best but a little chaotic, a couple improved significantly after a race or two and I think one was no longer shutting off going into corners by the end Comfortable Mildenhall win on paper, primarily because Ipswich kept falling or blowing up. The Mildenhall #1 was absent. Had to feel sorry for Ipswich's Huthwaite: - Flew out the tapes 1st then promptly blew a chain in 1st corner - They announced they were holding his next race to give him time to fix but then went without him - Looked to blow another chain before the 1st corner in his next race
  4. Forecast has deteriorated significantly from earlier, so any local updates as we get nearer would be appreciated
  5. Meeting off due to KL 'Rider availability'............
  6. Confused as to why tactical wasn’t used in heat 12? Or is it not allowed in playoffs?
  7. Updates on any potential rain will be appreciated from locals, lots of rain around elsewhere it seems
  8. I will be attending with my mother who needs to sit (not disabled, just can't stand for that long). From what i can see from pictures and videos i'm not convinced there is any seating? We have our own chairs to bring and i see someone has already confirmed that they can be taken in. Is there any area that is better for using seats? I.e. if some terracing is too small to fit a standard folding chair or there's a busy standing area where a chair will be a nuisance. I have tried looking at the grandstand but can't see any way of booking it?
  9. Forecast keeps changing, but generally includes a lot of rain between now & start time. Any updates form locals nearer the time would be appreciated.
  10. Unfortunately wasn’t able to attend 1st meet, but have tickets purchased ready for the next. Fingers crossed for weather. How did things work in terms of crowd movements under COVID restrictions? Are the food vendors still open and is there any change to how they work? I normally sit in the back straight stands, is it a free for all in terms of seats but just keep a gap? Or are you directed? How well did the separate queue for pre-purchased tickets work? Many thanks in advance
  11. Good news re: sound system. Also Connor has been signed by Coventry in the NL to replace JPB.
  12. Last year's fixtures were announced 24th Jan; anyone heard any whispers about this year's?
  13. Newman's Twitter: Battered and bruised this morning! Been to see Dec at jigsaw Physio straightened me back out and now for a bit of rest, good to go again
  14. At work in a very sunny London, forecast of thunderstorms still looms though. Can some kind locals please provide a few weather updates nearer to 6pm.
  15. Meeting preview up on website, Sedgmen is the signing, pending BSPA approval
  16. Good news for Danny, got himself a Prem spot with Leicester https://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.31919
  17. A shocking error in my math, fixed now! Also, sorry, I pressed report on your post rather than quote...! Having a mare.
  18. http://www.ipswichwitches.co/story/witches-to-ride-in-sgb-championship-in-2017 A new name for the league Rye & Somerset go up 40 pt team limit Still have to have 3 pt young Brit Only 4 teams in playoffs 36 league matches vs 24 last year I don't know enough about team building to tell how life changing a 2.5pt reduction on the limit will be... Let the Team Building Speculation commence!
  19. At risk of opening the can of worms that is the BSPA rule book, do we know for certain what the tiebreakers are? Assuming that it is points difference, I calculate that Sheffield's loss yesterday means that a home win tomorrow night will be enough to see us through. *Edit* I see the Newcastle meeting thread has a similar theme so I guess we are working on points difference
  20. Change no.4 coming up? Greenwood has decided to take time away from the sport... (see website & twitter)
  21. Witches spend 'frosty' night in hotel! Read @DannyKingRacing col in Thur @ipswichstar24 Anything interesting? I am not local and the news doesn't seem to go up on the website as far as I can see (still looking for Bacon's piece from the start of the week).
  22. Nice to see John Campbell conveniently forgetting Clegg's roller in ht2 when he is slamming the ref for King's in the final. Clegg's turned a 5-0 into a 3-3!
  23. Manzares will not be allowed back due to Visa so we can discount him
