  1. Adults £19.00 Seniors (65yrs and above) * £16.00 Concessions (disability or on benefits) * £16.00 Student (16yrs or over with Student ID card) * £10.00 Child (11-16yrs) * £6.00 Child (under 11) * FREE * proof may be required Sorry got the kids ages wrong.. Copied and pasted from Pirates website. Thanks for all your concerns - especially from the stalkers.
  2. No wonder James Sargeant decided to pack it in!!
  3. So much easier when you own your own stadium and can control rental costs! To open the whole stadium for all fans for p&p could cost the same rental as for a full meeting, if you have particularly difficult stadium owners. Allowing sponsors and season ticket holders to attend p&p is one of the little 'thank yous' available to those that give the club their committed financial support upfront. Incidentally Poole's 2023 prices are only Adult £19; Seniors & Concessions £16; Students (16+) £10; Kids under 11 - Free! Hardly 'money-grabbing' by the current League and Cup champions compared to most other Championship clubs!!!
  4. Yes but with strong Poole connections. Anyway you just concentrate on young(ish) Mr Turner. He could do very well for you - but then again......?
  5. I meant ZK IN 21 and HA in 22. Sorry for the confusion. What with Crumpy and Bjarne also in 21, there are so many Poole assets riding for other teams one tends to lose track!
  6. Think you'll find ZC is also now a Poole asset as he couldn’t ride for Plymouth any more due to the Tuesday Polish U.24 league. All part of facilitating the Kelleher and Andersen arrangements to ride for Plymouth last season!
  7. He was in the 1-7 until the team-building points limit was reduced to 40 from the previously agreed 42 points!! Danny is still using 4 of his own assets! How many Plymouth assets are in the Gladiators 1-7?
  8. I think you'll find Darcy Ward has the full promotional speedway rights at the Mick Doohan!! Also with the demise of Discovery Sports Events MD Monsieur Ribeiro, if there is to be another SGP in Australia it is likely to be at one of the permanent tracks, with added seating!! (Speedway Star 24/02.23)
  9. His 2022 season was purely down to niggling injuries, poor engines and set-ups! Completely new equipment for 2023 should see him thrive - again!
  10. I guess it might depend on the wording of any ACU/SCB/BSPL Contract they sign beforehand?
  11. Well as long as they both have a mandate, all should be well!?
  12. He's not a Plymouth asset with a signed contract so as a free agent he can go where he likes!
  13. True to form, living up to the various earlier descriptions of him.
  14. You could easily lose the 'smart' and still be 100% accurate!
  15. Owning one and being one are different I guess!!
  16. replying to your own posts?! So confused you're talking to yourself again
  17. Having read the last few pages, if it was in most other businesses an employee (or self employed contractor) had been offered a deal, had accepted it and made all arrangements, had been measured for the company uniform and even received his uniform with his name on it - only to then find out that it wasn't going to happen, then for sure I wouldn't blame the person for going public! As for the point about giving away the kevlar design, I would suggest the Insta/FB photo gets more publicity than the exposure from P&P day!! Maybe from some 'fans' on here, its an anti-Aussie thing, but I hope young Ben Cook doesn't get similar treatment!
  18. Just for clarification - The SCB is managed on a day to day basis by the SCB Co-ordinator (Neil Vatcher: neil@scbgb.co.uk) and an Administrator (info@scbgb.co.uk). They are augmented in specialist areas by Track Inspectors (Alan Bridgett: alan@scbgb.co.uk & Mick Bates: mick@scbgb.co.uk), Track Curator Advisors (Terry Chrabaszcz : terrytrack@hotmail.co.uk & Andy Meredith : andym.amsa@gmail.com) and Technical Advisors (Ron Jones: jap4b@tiscali.co.uk & Jim McGregor: james.mcgregor10@outlook.com)The Bureau consists of 4 nominated Members, two representing the ACU are Tony Steele and Paul Hurry (ACU Members) whilst Rob Godfrey (BSPA Chairman) and Chris van Straaten (BSPA Promoter) represent the British Speedway Promoters Association under the independent Chairmanship of Jim Lawrence (a former speedway Referee).
