  1. If any of this was accurate one would have expected Hagon to be named as number 8 again for the KO Cup semi 2nd leg tonight?! Whilst Adam does seem to have tailed off a little, he is still doing his average - as is Anders. As for Rew he's said with all his other racing commitments, he doesn't want the Championship schedule this season!! Maybe that might change towards the end of the season once European fixtures have eased off a little.
  2. Agree, but its when he gives it 110% that there can be a problem!!
  3. Not an accusation merely a question - note the word 'maybe' and the question mark at the end!!
  4. Maybe more about the Redcar v Poole 2nd leg ko cuptie on Saturday!!!!?
  5. Cook scores 9 from reserve and you want him out???
  6. Well at least it means King and Wright wont get an extra ride!!
  7. I guess that's what you get when broadcasting from the back ofa van!? Not a criticism as I think they generally do a great job, despite some of the commentary! Incidentally I see for Saturdays return Lewi Kerr is guesting for Riss.
  8. King and Wright can both take r/r so they could score 27-30 points between them!! I think it'll be a lot closer than many think with or without Riss. Depends how the track is as its a different track curator covering for Terry - its been very different for the 2 recent home meetings> For Saturday the Bears guest could be anyone up to 8.65 to cover for Riss!! Cook, Schlein, Sedgman, Nicholls, R.Worrall???? take your pick (that assumes no one from the other semi final is eligible?!)
  9. Great win for the Brummies in the midst of all the tractor racing and power tripping!
  10. So a rider wants to return from injury to racing on his home track first!? Nothing wrong with that...............
  11. Great to see Magnus Zetterstrom will be in attendance on Wednesday!
  12. Strange. He took 5 rides including heat 15 on Friday.
  13. Premiership CEO Phil Morris has clarified this 'one-off' situation re. Holder. see BSPL website.....
  14. As per the Pirates website!! ps. the last I heard about Riss was that he's still unfit to ride and seeking further investigation with a Neurologist! Ipswich concur!
  15. May 31st now deferred in favour of Poole v Oxford KO Cup semi-final on 30th and 31st.
  16. So the ref stops the race cos he spots the airfence deflating! Calls for the interval to be taken - fine. Racing resumes and one race later theres an immediate track grade and watering? Any attempt to favour the home team seems to have faltered.
  17. Can anyone else hear the grinding of teeth!!? Ha ha. Fair play Gav. Due to visa issues this is the first year that Ben Cook could race in more than one league.
  18. Oh no that's very sad. We had some superb gatherings at the Stewkesbury homes back in the day with Merv, Pete Jackie and Ros. R.I.P. Mervyn Great Obituary on the BSPL website today with very nice words from Chris Van Stratten and Rosco!
  19. Fair play to Morris, Sedgman and Bowtell who all performed above and beyond at Wimborne Road last night!!
  20. A more local derby for a charity might explain it then?!
