  1. What fixture do you think Poole should have had? They've completed their home league programme, and the first leg of the KO Cup and BSN semis. Redcar wouldn't come until next Tuesday with visiting Oxford next Wednesday.
  2. Simple answer, come to Wimborne Road as usual and watch footie on phone!!😉
  3. This fixture now appears on the BSPL fixture list. Its not listed as 'provisional'! Nice of Poole to agree to host the first leg!!!!!!!!!!! Thoughts..?
  4. Speedway updates or Poole's twitter/X platform will carry updates, unless of course BSN can be pressured to cover it!!!?
  5. I can't say what happened. I was in my grandstand seat applauding every race as usual and enjoying the great atmosphere from a large crowd . What gets me is all the 'holier than thou' people on here who won't admit that EVERY club has at least one or two idiots that act irresponsibly - usually alcohol-fuelled! Moving on.... are both teams using r/r or a guest on Sunday??
  6. Wow! The things people say to generate a decent crowd when you are 14 points down!?😉
  7. From what I'm hearing at the moment, it'll NOT be a one league structure. However it's still only August with another 2 months or so to the AGM, so anything can still change.....!
  8. Yes, although clubs try to keep the streaming price the same, there are huge differences in other club incomes/costs, eg whether they own or operate their own Stadia, whether they get income from bars, hospitality, parking etc or not. It can be £14.99 for a Prem stream.
  9. Ha ha. A 'raving' reporter is about right! Not a patch on Pooles...!😉
  10. I think its a bit late in the season to start playing around with rider pairings - just my opinion.
  11. For those that maybe cannot get to the track or find it too costly, then a stream at the same price is crazy! Clubs see the stream as extra revenue from those opposition fans and others unable or unwilling to travel. Premiership clubs have the 'benefit' of TNT Sports coverage but still most of them offer their own stream when not on TNT! I think I'm right in saying that Glasgow are the only Championship club that do not offer a streaming service. Ok thats their perogative and maybe they don't need any extra income from opposition fans unable to visit, especially if they benefit from all stadium income. Shame really.......that is all.
  12. In the post-meeting interviews Lewis firstly had an electrical fault and then a puncture!! Anders - after a hellish week with vans breaking down and late track arrivals - said he has 'lost his gating gloves' and was hoping for some more track time at Sheffield (Oops!) and in Poland at the weekend. Everything fixable and both will be fine imo.
  13. Well let's hope the 3000 free tickets the Facennas are giving away lead to a bumper crowd and some good racing. It'll be interesting to see how many return if/when the Tigers lose, despite the good racing?!
  14. Just a shame there is no stream for those fans that are unable to travel!!! COYP
  15. Whats all this got to do with Poole 2025?
  16. Cami Brown in the 'official' Glasgow summary! He should be reported/fined/disciplined for 'bringing the sport into disrepute' and encouraging a hostile atmosphere in the return leg, at which I hope they have a strong, fully neutral ref as they won't have the benefit of any TV/stream replays.
  17. I thought Bates stepped down at the agm due to pressure of business!?
  18. As for Nagel I heard a whisper about his availability for the 2nd leg. check his Polish fixtures for Sept 7th.....
  19. ....and the light rain shower comes just as predicted!!
  20. Rain due throughout the day til late afternoon, but all the extra shale on the track should soak it up nicely. If Tiggers fans can't make it you can watch on Pirates TV (Link on website). Hopefully for us Pirate fans who can't travel to Glasgow on 7/9 there will also be a stream available...........!? (One can only hope).
