  1. The points limit is more crucial in my view, rather than the league structure. Its not as if these things haven't been discussed /agreed !!at the monthly promoter meetings
  2. If there is/was the remotest chance of Prem next season I reckon Poole would be seeking a number of guarantees. Imo, Wednesday night racing; a big chunk of financial help to offset potential losses like in 2018/19 and an undoubted increase in stadium rent; and to not increase admission prices; a sufficient number of meaningful fixtures plus tv revenue. Otherwise what's the point? So, unlikely in my view.
  3. I wonder as its almost the Pirates last home meeting of 2025, whether there will be any announcements about 2026 eg, a rider signing etc?
  4. Richard Lawson saying on socials this morning that he's looking for a Premiership place in 2026? Read into that whatever..................!?
  5. For everyone attending this evening, get in the queues as early as possible in case any H&S people with their 'clickers' try to say the stadium has reached capacity too early! NB. Lawson on facebook this morning saying he's looking for a Premiership place in 2026!!!
  6. It's always in November - usually the 2nd week - to rubber stamp what has been discussed (and tentatively agreed) at their monthly meetings. Also each club has to submit its accounts and give its intention to run, and at what level, the following season. Their most recent meeting was last Tuesday in Barnsley(?) and I guess individual decisions about next season will depend on the final bottom line of each clubs accounts and/or what additional financial carrots can be offered to any potential Premiership clubs?!
  7. I think having the 2nd leg at home is all about being able to celebrate the aggregate win in front of the home fans - assuming you do actually win it of course!!😉
  8. Hope that all are OK. The rule only goes to 4-2s if its not clear from the 5-1s as i understood it but it could be ALL heat advantages. So it would be Tigers on the 5-1 basis or Redcar on total heat advantages.
  9. WTF? Meeting abandoned after 13 heats. Redcar go through!!!!
  10. Maybe we should call him 'strap' in future. He usually talks 'bo!!ocks' most of the time.
  11. I don't understand it either, unless because it's a different competition the 8-days doesn't apply?
  12. Just like Redcar last night! If its so obvious you'ld think most teams and riders would get their machinery set ups right!?
  13. No class, you're just embarrassing yourself Lewy.ðŸĪĢ Signing off for now, have a lovely classless day, cheerio Steve Lyric2, Skidder 1, Skidder 2, Dorset Pirate 99, CT2.😉😇
  14. Lewy you wouldn't recognise class if it bit you on the ass! You see, I'm a poet and didn't know it. Enjoy your beers.ðŸĪŠ I'll carry on with my champers.
  15. No. He hasn't missed a meeting. BSN said he was puking up in the pits! (Shame it wasn't at The Coliseum - it could do with a bit of a spruce up)!ðŸĪĢ PS. Good luck to the Bears against the Tigers. Don't really want Glasgow on successive weeks!😇
  16. Usually lifts all trophies in the south in the 2nd leg! North will make a pleasant change.
  17. Joint team managers for Pirates on Friday. Both Havvy and Middlo at the ECCO. (Possibly also Matt Ford if he's still over here?)ðŸŦ
  18. ..and yet a once-again packed grandstand thoroughly enjoyed the racing and the result. Incidentally heat 15 amongst others proved there can be great racing with no passes at all.
