Both Poole and Redcar websites have the KO Cup meetings on 5th and 8th Oct respectively. BSPL have not updated their fixture list yet - possibly because the office is involved in big meetings taking place in Rugby at the moment apparantly!?

I really don't get all the negativity (bullrubbish) about the playoffs. pretty much very other sport that operates a league structure includes play-offs of one sort or another. Clubs love 'em because they are still money-spinners compared to standard fixtures (not least because clubs can raise the admission prices) and they can sometimes be the difference between a club losing money or breaking even over the season! They still attract larger crowds and often greater local/regional media coverage..

Despite the various pros and cons, some of the vile and nasty comments he has had on social media are totally unacceptable! I hope his mental state is OK.

He's aggravated an old hip injury. Not sure on his recovery but Poole don't have another meeting til 5th (unless opponents become clearer for a meeting to be slotted in on Weds 1st?) Also if a guest is needed, Connor Mountain might be a consideration?

Have been for many years. Beth was filming/interviewing for the club's social media platforms. If you're that interested, her pre-meeting interview with Zach was on fb prior to the start. Very pleased to report that other broadcasters are following her progress....!🙂 NB. Especially for Gavan!! Quote: "Adam Ellis completed the rostrum trio and confessed that he had "forgotten how fast it can be around Poole especially when out by the fence" but admitted that it was good to be back at Poole".😄

There were only 2 programmed races (15 & 17) with only 3 riders after Jeppesen's crash and withdrawal. OK a couple of other re-runs for d/qs but no different to lots of other individual meetings elsewhere.

Great to see Cooper Rushen in the pits and a good interview with co-presenter Pirate Lee.🙂
