Poole vs Glasgow KOC SF 1st leg 27/08/25
SteveLyric2 replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Cami Brown in the 'official' Glasgow summary! He should be reported/fined/disciplined for 'bringing the sport into disrepute' and encouraging a hostile atmosphere in the return leg, at which I hope they have a strong, fully neutral ref as they won't have the benefit of any TV/stream replays. -
I thought Bates stepped down at the agm due to pressure of business!?

Rain due throughout the day til late afternoon, but all the extra shale on the track should soak it up nicely. If Tiggers fans can't make it you can watch on Pirates TV (Link on website). Hopefully for us Pirate fans who can't travel to Glasgow on 7/9 there will also be a stream available...........!? (One can only hope). -
Whatever you want........!?😄

So is that Premiership?????

Mr Tolley said on TV interview last night that there was 'no truth in the rumour that he was taking over at Sheffield, despite some banners plus a top hat with a tiger on it'!! He did say it with a smile on his face and also emphasised that he would still be involved in speedway next year!! He also mentioned the possibility of Cradley returning in 2027!!?

Plymouth v Berwick - 23rd August
SteveLyric2 replied to jbell1995's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
So season over for the Gladiators -, 23rd August 2025!!!! Wow....! -
Better admission charges too I wager!? (NB. So good to see the Poole 2025 thread providing a platform for Plymouth, Worky and other 'fans')!.............😚 PS> Happy Birthday to Tobias Thomsen today - doughnuts for his supper no doubt!!😂
-
The Fords 'will be dipping into their pockets' to pay for the new air fence! As for Tobias, it is suggested that his Danish club will be in their top league next year so Wednesday fixtures!!! Thats why Plymouth or Glasgow might be better options for him.......?!😜 In any case, until the league format, number of teams and the 'agreed' 40points limit are confirmed, its a bit pointless looking at possible line-ups for 2026, imo!!
-
I know that's the format in the Prem but wasn't sure it applied in the Championship?
-
Congrats to the Tigers. Finishing top has been a no-brainer for a few weeks and with the play-off 4 now virtually certain, the big question now is who will Glasgow choose in the semi final?

You would think the BSPL website would have single click access to club Facebook pages rather than club websites!!!😂 -

Oh dear!! -
That'll be why they've had to close the gates a couple of times previously when Poole have finals to contest!!
-
I thought Tobias was guesting for Lasse at Redcar and Klindt at Plymouth?!
-
It was temporary seating brought in for the 3rd/4th bends. Capacity now reduced by Stadium Health & Safety regs to around 3,500-4,000 I believe!! Stadium staff on duty at every turnstile now with click-counters.
-
He loved it at Wimborne Road last night too. Rider of the Night plus an interview on BBC South Today.
-
No worries. Tobias will sort it out!!😃
