I think that with the economic pressures on everyone, a minimum home meeting schedule of 12 (in Poole's case) is more than acceptable. Of course if progress is made to the play-offs (top 6 again; out of 9 this time) as well as the KO Cup and Trophy meetings then it looks good. Start at Easter with some sort of Bank Holiday Trophy meeting or similar then 4 months (allowing for any rain-offs)to get the competitive meetings in before the cut-off. Perfectly sensible planning imo.

The promoters know! Give Gazza a bell!
-
At least 12 guaranteed home meetings for Poole before any play offs etc. Start at Easter through August and then the serious stuff!
-
What was the meeting on Monday?
-
So it's back to one home one away plus aggregate bonus point! Play offs still top six but split into 2 play off mini leagues of 3 each selected by the top 2.

You could have both Cook Brothers at reserve. Both good mates with Jack Holder makes for good team spirit.

I thought the emojis would show I was joking?!
-
No point really. Lewy would have a guest!!

Only if its on a Wednesday neutral track!! -
We all thought you had applied?! CV not up to it??
-
Maybe the 4 Prem clubs with decent race tracks are objecting to yet another that has problems with prep? Maybe its 'Lets all gang up on the Bates'?
-
or if the Prem was on Wednesdays?!
-
I hope Danny Ford's not has his arm twisted?!!! In the best interest of the sport of course!!
-
Maybe the BSPL have given the Speedway Star an 'exclusive' for this Thursdays edition?
-
Didn't Sheffields Master Bates say recently that it would be a 6- team Premiership??

When I checked the BSPL website at around 5pm yesterday to check for any AGM info, the Leicester Lions logo had definitely moved into the Premiership section. The 9 Championship logos were in 3 rows of 3. -
Yes just seen that too! Weird!
-
Do you have to keep guesting?
-
At least the Leicester logo has gone to the Premiership clubs section on Speedwaygb
-
The office staff need time to go away and recalculate all the averages for team building!!
-
Conversion rate between the 2 leagues? Length of time a guest facility can be used for a heat leader injury? Number of matches for new averages? Who is going to the shops to replenish the chocolate biscuits!
-
Clearly some differences of opinion - Main statement due Thursday morning after 'clarification of several points'!! See brief statement on BSPL website.
-
As well as the main AGM, don't both leagues have their own seperate meetings? If so it may take a bit longer to find 2 rooms of similar size rather than one room for the Championship and a utility room/broom cupboard for the Premiership!
-
There are plenty of fans that don't bother with forums such as this and so an announcement in the media (Echo, Solent, tv, facebook etc) is much better.
-
Matt will always have a couple of team options pencilled in before the AGM but will never want to release all the team info at once as there will be.nothing newsworthy in Dec/Jan/Feb.
