  1. Yes it's in the International section, on facebook and in the local Poole paper.
  2. Yes but Leicester proposed it. You know Leicester that are members of the governing BSPL whose rules are such that they are always 'in the best interest of the sport'!! They are hardly going to claim anything as 'illegal' as they are part of it.
  3. It's not just about getting a visa. Its the type of visa that allows work in more than just one league/country. Ben Cook has to get his changed for next year.
  4. ...but Leicester agreed (or proposed) the switch so...... ? Poole were pleased to simply get it on, despite a couple of riders never having seen the place and having no practice.
  5. In it to win it as fans of both teams will be. If no other teams or fans are interested, fair enough. Not sure how it can 'damage the sport'?
  6. Probably those that will get a big pre-season crowd and pay day after a long winter!!
  7. You need to get out more and move on! Illegal my ar$e?!! There you go I've bitten.
  8. I guess it might depend on how different the team building points limits are and how much 'stronger' the Prem teams are likely to be?
  9. If Premiership clubs can't attract stronger riders, what is the point of Polish Speedway relaxing their rider rules? Prem clubs should increase their team building average up to say 46 points to attract some 'stronger riders' if they can be afforded and leave the Championship well alone at around 40-41 points!
  10. AGM is next week. BTW I was told Rew was a shoe in in 2021?! Not sure what type of Visa he has?
  11. Calm down Lewy. You are being very defensive. Its almost as if there is something to hide. Relax and watch the re-run of your Gladiators v Pirates KO Cup meeting back in April at 7pm tonight. BTW I'm replying to the post not insulting the poster. 'Plank' indeed?!
  12. Never let the truth spoil an attempt at a conspiracy theory!
  13. Correct. A couple of Darcy Ward Promotions meetings!
  14. Problem with that is those clubs that have to stage a minimum of X number of home meetings to satisfy their stadium landlords! And those meetings must be meaningful (competitive) to get a reasonable crowd in. As for the play-offs, restrict it to the top 3 who could then each stage a home leg or could just go to a one-off neutral track final with 6-man teams! Don't think its ever been tried before in recent years?!
  15. It was Glasgow's choice to withdraw so tough!! Plus I'm not sure Leicester would want to ride on a neutral track again? It'll be a nice pre-season challenge to brush the cobwebs away before the 32 league fixtures kick in (Oops sorry that only applies to Poole!)
  16. He would ride for Poole as he's a Poole asset. Of course depending on the 1-7s Poole may not need to strengthen?!
  17. Let's hope the other Prem clubs dont turn down Leicesters application because of their track issues?!
  18. Just for the record PiratecastLive is a completely unofficial video and podcast professionally produced and presented by 2 Pirate fans completely voluntarily and not part of the official club structure specifically so that any criticisms of the club can be and are aired. (Clearly its usually mostly positive). Each live episode features a guest - often a rider, but has also had Middlo, Karlito(DJ), Scotty Mitchell, and SCB referee Christina Turnbull to name a few - all of whom are asked questions from the fans in the chat room. All episodes are available to view on You-Tube or to listen to as a podcast on all platforms. The lads intend to continue through the winter to maintain the speedway fix. Give it a try.......
