Panthers could surely still return in 2025 at the Showground, initially in Championship say, as a weekend operation with the basics of a track - a bit like Workington, to start with. Then build upwards from there...........?

Still no confirmation that Thomsen has fully recovered from his ankle injury last week, and no official news of a guest standing by (although lots of rumours) so I guess it could be r/r at 2. If its r/r that'll mean Tobias gets another week of recovery before coming back at reserve v Scunny on 7th!

Each to their own. The Prem meetings I have seen on tv or stream haven't produced any more exciting racing than those in Championship - in some cases a heck of a lot worse! Still as many processional races because there aren't so called 'top' riders in every race. But as I've said each to their own.

The team strengths may be less due to points limits but the racing/ atmosphere has been just as good imo. But I accept others have a different point of view. For example is Championship racing at Glasgow or Redcar any worse??

Why is it a weaker product? Admission prices will always increase, albeit slightly because most other costs also increase, Attendances seem to suggest that most fans are happy with what they are seeing each week.

Bomber is not fully fit with his knee injury which he hurt again in another crash yesterday doing grasstrack/longtrack. He then goes straight to Sweden for 2 meetings before Poole on Wednesday. Whispers that Drew Kemp is guesting for Worrall. Possibly r/r or Danyon Hume for Tobias.

I agree with all of that, except why would Poole put themselves at greater financial risk again. (Fingers burned badly in 2019!) Unless 2025 was known to be their last season at Poole Stadium and they had some quirky idea of going out in a blaze of glory?!! AND THAT AIN'T HAPPENING!

Bomber's had some cracking races at Wimborne Road, both for and against the Pirates - all of them available via TV, You tube or stream.

So unless there is a last minute change, it looks like its the same referee, Dave Watters, as at Glasgow last evening!!! Lets hope for no first bend 'offs' or startline tardiness, as well as punishing any/all 'rollers'!!
