Money and the threat of the sack in Poland calls the tune. Tom is 2nd in the Pirates averages currently so r/r will be the best solution - especially with 6 teams in action on Friday. Meanwhile Redcar will need a replacement for Connor Bailey!!

Does Rob Lyon control the purse strings then? -
The first of 6 Pirate meetings in the rest of July. Lets hope for some consistency in the weather which should make for some better consistency in track prep. With or without Nico Covatti/Dan Thompson (or guest/r/r)I can't see anything other than a Pirates win 54-36. NB. Happy 18th Birthday to Vinnie Foord today! COYP.

Update on Tom: He's fine, just a bit sore and looking forward to a few days rest!!

Whenever sufficient riders are able to race and enough fans can attend on an 'off night'!

Updates said he came off and his bike rebounded off the fence and landed on his chest!! Painful!! I didn't watch on BSN and have not yet heard anything this morning.

'100% more pounds per point for Brum' is irrelevant if he's not scoring enough points! More points and more meetings for Poole (plus more win bonuses?) makes more sense . The Poole track gets similar criticism for being inconsistent, but points are still scored. However I do share concerns that his overall speedway schedule and travelling is taking its toll - something that may get worse as the season progresses. -
Danny Ford quoted in the local Echo saying he has no info on any dates for the respective away legs!
-
Does it actually say its the 1st Leg in each semi final? or is Poole simply the first to agree their home leg dates? Surely Worky and Scunny could announce earlier respective dates for their home legs? Or have I missed something?
-
Poole fans, and others plus the Poole R.E.F. (Riders Equipment Fund) have raised over ÂŁ1600 for Max Perry's bike repairs. Great effort>

Great news from Tobias after his crash on Wednesday. X-Rays have proved no breaks so he will be ok for Poole's next meetings. -

..or simply celebrate with another 2 points!

Whatever individual track loyalties are, I cannot believe that any true speedway fans on here are not 100% supportive of what the Panthers Consortium are trying so hard to achieve!
-
The only time noise has been an issue at Poole is whenever there is something on during the midweek daytime eg practice laps or on P&P day when its agreed with the neighbouring school that there will be no track noise before 3pm. Relationships with the school are excellent, to the point that overflow matchday car parking is utilised on the school grounds!

A lot later than it appeared at Plymouth last night!! -
Gino Manzares coming over for the BEN Fund meeting so maybe worth a try - assuming he hasn't already been snapped up elsewhere?!

Overcast in Poole today and forecast to be the same throughout the day. Might even be a slight risk of some natural watering to assist the track prep. Edinburgh boys will be well fed and watered at Middlo's overnight so looking forward to a decent meeting. -

As good as Picko is (and he is good), he won't be setting any new track records at Wimborne Road tonight! In fact nobody will. -
The choice of potential guest (7.73 Home/7.36 away) shouldn't be a problem. Although the Saturday Home fixtures may be for some?! Best wishes to Tate.
