Why reduce the price when you are pretty much guaranteed a decent crowd - TV or no TV!? Reduce it to £10 for one adult and one Under-16, when the opponents are weak like Poole are doing Wednesday!! (That may well come back to haunt me?! Hope not as all Poole Councillors are due to attend Wednesday.)

A similar view to this has been expressed on a club forum Bryn. However how do you explain all the officials wearing FIM-branded shirts etc?? The club forum administrator stated it is the BSPA/SCB who don't recognise the event (in order to protect the EL programme) - hence the 'No facility' ruling! I'm just not quite sure how 3 or 4 Friday/Saturday fixtures are 'protected', by losing a rider and only covering with a 'lower than 6 pt PL rider at best?? I'm fairly sure - and I've said it before- that I read some time ago in the Speedy Star that BSPA/SCB had 'stepped back' from their non-recognition as certain British riders were keen to be included (assuming they would be invited) in both the SEC and the Pairs?!

That's the last time for 3 of the young Poles in the U.21s, The Aussie boys are much younger and will still all(?) be eligible for next year I think.

Kacper is coming over for the Blue Riband on October 14th. I'm sure I recall reading somewhere that Middlo told him that there is likely to be a team place in 2017 - subject to what rule changes may come in?!

I thought there were a couple of open fan forums earlier this season to get fan views. I'm a bit disappointed that there haven't been more around the country but one or two promoters are clearly seeking feedback from their own fans.

Victor rides for Piraterna in Sweden alongside the likes of Hancock, Kildermand and Piotr Pawlicki. He is 5th in Newcastle's averages 5.25. Its r/r for Brady which means Buzz, Bjarne,Adam and Kyle can take the rides.

Anyway back to the thread, Still no news on Brady's replacement - Rory Schlein perhaps? Not sure how he's done at Leicester previously?! And maybe Michael Palm Toft to replace Hans. He was more than adequate when guesting for Bjarne but at Number 5 - who knows? Not a lot of choice unfortunately - still hopefully the Pirates will be in 'Lakeside away' mode!!
