  1. No team can have 2 tier 1 reserves - (not even Poole ), unless of course the new BSPA Chairman has been able to manipulate change the rules, that nobody has seen yet?!
  2. Charlie Gjedde is a good signing and the Plymouth track will suit him.
  3. Woah hold on there GRW123 get down off your high horse. It was a serious question/statement (no emoticons)!! Sorry if you think it pathetic especially after all your negativity in almost every post!! A number of GP stars have said they would only be interested in a short term contract (March/April/May?) in the EL. I agree with others that it would be great to have Nicki back in the EL - but I do question whether it would be for a whole season. NP is already racing in 3 countries, is also in the Euros as well as the GPs. Why would he suddenly agree to do EL, when he's chosen to give it a miss for several seasons. He surely wants competitive racing which he's only likely to get when up against Poole and Belle Vue and possibly Swindon in the EL's weakened format. I don't have any recollection of what happened at Peterborough before?! Not interested - but it clearly sticks in the minds of some...........!!
  4. Bjarne on 6.55. (It could also be Swindon - he used to love partnering Doyley?!!?) ps. Good luck to Vatch. (Hope his dad's ill health is improving!)
  5. No. The announcement about Buzz stated he was on loan from Peterborough!!
  6. Doesn't Rick Frost still own Peterborough Speedway, whether he chooses Readypower to sponsor or not?!
  7. If its Nicki, will he do a full season? Doubt it!!
  8. Wrong Pedersen??????! Or maybe its both as they are racing for the same Danish side in 2016.
  9. At least the season tickets are on sale - which is more than can be said for certain other teams, including some that have completed their 1-7s!!
  10. Reading the latest update and aside from Stadia UK's chequered history, they clearly want the new stadium to be built so that greyhounds, hospitality and betting can continue. Swindon speedway is an important tenant in that scenario and its good to hear that July 2016 is the newly revised date.
  11. I don't think the new BV track will hold as many fears for the Poole team as Kirky Lane did
  12. What chance Bjarne signing for Lakeside??!
  13. 2017 will see 2 Holders - 1 sharing the Number 1 position with Magic and one as a 2nd string alongside his best mate Brady!!
  14. Can't keep dwelling on the past - btw KK's testimonial hasn't been held yet!!
  15. A good businessman always make the best of his business contacts, otherwise whats the point of running a successful business?!
  16. And just think he was there for anyone to snap up - but MF beat them all to the punch again!!
  17. He is in the list as is Watt, but Hans starts 4th in order of averages behind Holder, Watt and Buzz!! Poole have only signed 3 from the H/L list of 18 riders because that is what is allowed. Buzz wasn't on the list because he didn't race EL in 2015.
  18. That's all fine ---BUT Watt starts as a heat leader and Andersen as 2nd string!!
  19. You - and everyone else - can forget about Dak North for 2016. He ain't coming back as he's helping to look after his dad in Oz!!!!
  20. Yes he came in on 5.30, immediately dropped to 5.21 but went to Number 2, rode his first meeting as a 2nd string v Bees on 31st July 2013 scoring 12+2 and then against the Eagles a week later scoring 12+1 - happy days!!
  21. The only place the 7 riders are listed on the website is under the 'team' button (unless I'm missing something), which also has Ellis above Kurtz, so cannot be the riding order!! The Echo have Buzz as the 3rd heat leader. The other interesting news is Dak's decision to give 2016 a miss in order to stay at home to help with his dad's long term recovery!!! (Awaits Coventry fans protesting that its not a valid reason to stay away!!) According to most, the reserve pairing won't remain the reserve pairing for very long!!! And as far as 'the pole' is concerned, it was only a few days ago that everyone was up in arms at Poole signing a World Cup rider as a 2nd string!! So I would say the only way............ is up!!
  22. Goodness me - all these rider choices and I thought there was a shortage?!!
  23. THJ last rode here as a 2nd string behind Ward, Hancock and Janowski in 2013 helping Poole to the EL title and gaining a 5.69 average in a much tougher format than we have now. He then went on to become Swedish champion and a GP rider. I assume you are suggesting he still be a 2nd string?!
