Just to be clear, its not ALL poole fans who are showing negativity!!
-
He scored as many as KK - and didn't crash!!
-
Piratecast will be doing some audio from the Rider introductions (and possibly some periscope footage as last year) and some rider interviews for next Piratecast podcast.

Poole V Coventry Es First Leg 16/03/16SteveLyric2 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League Coventry report this morning 'No breaks for KK' (but nothing about Wednesday's line-up)!! Poole report this morning that 'KK will be missing' on Wednesday!!?

When Chris Holder won the World Championship in 2012, he rode the same engine everywhere - GPs, Leagues and Internationals - suitably tuned for varying track conditions, size and shape.

Poole V Coventry Es First Leg 16/03/16SteveLyric2 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League Poole will keep it close on Wednesday so that Friday's return is not a foregone conclusion and there is still a decent crowd at Brandon. MF is always willing to assist other promotions with their business......! :-) ;-)

Good to see Havvy recovering after his serious op!!

NKI has only signed until the first GP, which - surprise, surprise - is the end of April!!
-
Indeed! A bit like the WSL - so why does it matter which riders are selected as long as the meeting is 'interesting and international'??!
-
What's the point of travelling abroad to an event with little chance of competing equally if you are missing members of your regular team (Hans on this occasion) and cannot replace them with one of your own assets? Its strange that very few raise an eyebrow at KL wanting to strengthen their team against Wroclaw with first Doyle and then Nicholls - despite stating that they want to support the 'doing away with guests' in domestic meetings?!
-
Hardly, and neither are his many sponsors!!

National Speedway Stadium Opening Tickets Now On SaleSteveLyric2 replied to hyderd's topic in Speedway News and Discussions I'm fully aware of how the H&S testing regulations work. I wasn't having a go at BV other than the short notice of the announcement that they need a decent number of people to attend on Thursday afternoon to test the access, entrances, turnstiles etc etc. I hope it all goes well.
-
Not quite sure why some are getting hot under the collar about Nicholls' return?! Its not as if he's been guaranteed a final team place and he clearly wants to help the less-experienced riders in the squad as much as possible. Rosco will pick his final team based on his opinion as to who is in the best form at the time and who has ridden ok at the new stadium, as well as taking into account the team dynamic ie team spirit etc. ps. It would appear that Chris Harris did not practice with the rest of the Team GB squad in Gorican because he's not yet fit enough following an operation?? Any confirmed updates on this?
-
Will Bomber be fit to race on Wednesday as apparantly he couldn't actively participate in the Team GB practice over the weekend, due to still recovering from an op?!

National Speedway Stadium Opening Tickets Now On SaleSteveLyric2 replied to hyderd's topic in Speedway News and Discussions A facility and access test for speedway in the afternoon on Thursday 10th it seems - a bit short notice for a work day but hey ho?!
-
Great move by Poole to run the inaugural 'Race for Pete' after the Pirates v Bees ES meeting on 16th March, to commemorate the late Pete Ansell. Pete's widow Roz and his 2 sons together with former promoter Mervyn Stewkesbury will be in attendance!!

National Speedway Stadium Opening Tickets Now On SaleSteveLyric2 replied to hyderd's topic in Speedway News and Discussions Aren't they supposed to be having a full 'test run' of all services and facilities on 13th??

No green-eyed monster from this Poole fan!! Good luck to Belle Vue and the new stadium - best thing to happen to British Speedway in years and I hope the same goes for the new Swindon racetrack (as well as the new Poole Stadium whenever the developers get their way!!)
