Just to be strictly accurate, Darcy and Lizzie flew out on Tuesday, courtesy of Monster and Chris Holder. Chris is joining them out there after attending Poole's Darcy benefit Q&A night on Wednesday.

Good luck with that - Tuesday is Greyhound night at Poole!! The darcy fundraiser is on Wednesday 10th. The public forum is on 24th February!! Matt Ford first suggested squads back in 2011. Even though it won't benefit Poole this year it has to help those clubs that haven't yet completed their 1-7s!!

There are 3 Euro matches that day at 2pm, 5pm and 8pm. As we all know once the armchair fans get comfy its a helluva job to get them out!!

By Swindon's own admission, Poole's visits always produce the bigger crowds as its the closest Poole have for a local derby these days. Easter Sunday at 5pm should prove that once again - as long as the weather isn't against us!!

This is the 15th April fixture brought forward - still subject to confirmation apparantly - but if Sky have announced it then assume its correct?! Probably Sky getting used to Wednesday night speedway for next season!!

Hardly a competitor if only selected highlights!!? But I take your point. I think this has gone a bit over the top to be honest. Most fans that use periscope (and other apps) are exactly that - fans of their club in particular and speedway in general. They are not attempting to be in competition with anyone - simply using the app in an attempt to get extra publicity for the club and sport - and hopefully some more fans who like what they see/hear.

What kind of announcement would you expect from Poole?? Poole don't have any double-uppers in their 1-5 so don't need a squad - at the moment!! But I agree a statement of clarification from the BSPA would be most gratefully received.

I think this is simply the Polish clubs/media flexing their muscles (and getting in first!) on hearing that the BSPA might be moving to Friday as its nominated EL single race day!!
