Good post but any idea of a positive solution that can be carried out and put on all tracks? There must be someone who can come up with a solution in this day and age rather then plod on with what we have.maybe ask the people who make the polytrack for horse race meetings,or the fibresand they also use.There must be something that can be done as standard.

Actually i think Greg Hancock and the track are to blame!!!.In Tais previous ride Greg picked up and gave Tai one hell of a scare which together with the track being the way it was had a factor in Tai drifting wide.Maybe he knew sommehow it was Freddie coming up the inside and tried to give him room,but the track caught Tai out.I really couldnt call it either way!!!! JUST out of interest KK BROKE THE TRACK RECORD ON THAT TRACK,HOW?.Who was the time keeper?

didnt a similar thing happen in Germany? when the shale got wet,and the meeting called off which cost the organizers a shed load of money.That was an indoor stadium as well with a roof!! How has it been aloud to happen a 2nd time?

I know its a bit of an anorak question,but is Berwick foam fence a one off?,is it designed locally,seems to work pretty well,fair play to whoever designed it.Also fair play to the Berwick crowd for topping off a great night of speedway.

Why?--- The fact that Robson and Kozza looked like crashing with knowone giving an inch,i felt he put the bike down fearing a big smash ahead,and how they stayed on was amazing.BUT i do agree after laying the bike down he milked it big time by not getting off the track,but i honestly think his first actions to lay the bike down was genuine.

Well done Tai ,great showing,(although it did look LIKE Tai thought he had touched the tapes no emil!! ,mUST HAVE BEEN SWEET BEING TOLD EMIL TOUCHED THEM FIRST.fair play to Tai one of many gps hopefully to come.

quite enjoyed the music from the stadium as nigel and kev must have been sitting with the sound system man!!! ,still we could still hear pearson above the music which was a shame,maybe turn it up a notch or 50,next time!!!

Think Colin Meridith the Belle vue track man invented the worlds largest hairdryer a few years back,but was never seen in action in a league match,so maybe that was the cause of the burst pipes,ie-colin trying to install it underground and maybe starting it up when they have puddles!!!!

Dyer SHOULD have been the hero with the move he pulled on Howe in heat 15 UP THE INSIDE,he knew cook was then on the outside so natually he tried to defend the inside when Howe tried to get his place back steaming up the inside.All this talk about Dyer being in mid track i cant understand,so what ,he was in front with his partner out wide,he was just trying to defend the super move he had just made.

first time in a long time that i could have watched more of this product called speedway,really enjoyed the meeting,every race well contested,so many different lines on the track that it made it fantastic viewing,you could never predict the winner,even the commentry was good with a bit of banter with rosco,tai and nigel.Also 14 riders at a meeting instead of this R/R STUPID DOUBLE UP RULE thats in the elite league.

Think Mr G still lives in walking distance to the stadium,maybe hes had a crafty word or 2,and also popped round a few times for a cuppa or something stronger with the track staff!!!! in the days leading leading up to the grand prix.Does Gollob also have his workshops there?

I applaud chris lewis and sky for trying something new,but i dont like it!!! .It just feels to me that he is trying to explain something that wouldnt have happened if the riders never made mistakes in his video clips.75% of the time its not skill its someone making a mistake.I like chris and he would be better off showing how to get the most out of a speedway bike,ie 1-max power from the bike 2-sprokets -there are so many diff sizes it would be great to see the diff they make. 3-Tyres-in f1 they talk tyres all the time!!!! ,i know speedway has only one supplier but it would be still good to know,how long front tyres last,tyre pressure,change edges etc. 4-Dirt delefleter hows it set up 5-Two bikes ,2 different riders and the difference they choose in the set up of their machines for the meeting.ie Frames,etc. Maybe im going a bit big with my anorak!! but im sure other people might like to know or see how various things are done.

Fair play to Tai,rode well on the pace all night,just out of interest unlike previous years he doesnt have a lot of sponsors on his kevlars,anyone know why?

Got to agree that eurosport done a fine job putting the show together,liked the little segments between breaks with the Hancock interview ,for me made the breakes go faster then going back to the studio where most of the time they talked about nothing interesting!! when gps were on sky.

Sorry if this has been covered before but just wondered if someone can give me a few facts about the riders air jackets,ie 1-price 2-whats the amount of pressure thats sets them off? could a hard first bend contact set them off?!! 3-can they go off by themselves while a rider is racing?!!!! 4-How do you reset them if you have a fall. 5-Are they part of the race suit ? 6-How long do they last? do you have to change them after a certain amount of fall Thanks in advance
