Remember seeing him in the Pride of the East at Lynn, & he was incredible. Can someone put me out of my misery, & tell me who the other Pole was that night ?
They are advertising on Booking.Com, but saying temporally closed. Thought that was Covid 19, but would appreciate anyone being able to confirm this please.
I'm considering taking my in laws to Poole for their 50th wedding anniversary over the August bank holiday weekend. Can anyone recommend a nice hotel & restaurant please ?
Try going to show jumping events if you want to see snobbery. My daughter competed for 7 years at local events, & the majority of the people were wanna be snobs.
Watched NL for a couple of seasons, & always enjoyed it. Watching Adam Ellis come to Mildenhall & tear it up against a powerful Mildenhall top 3 was a brilliant afternoon. Would rather have that standard of speedway than none at all. Question is, would we have enough riders willing to ride part time, & also get a job ?
Maybe I'm forgetting the fact that long term speedway fans are getting older & are unable to attend, or passing away. Agree it's a mystery why Belle Vue isn't supported more. If I lived near there, I would go every week.
Very true, but £10 is not feasible with the current riders in Britain. Recent events may solve this problem, with lower standard riders our only option.
We won't get speedway for £10, never mind a fiver. Get the tracks right for good racing, & the average speedway fan wouldn't have a problem with admission prices.
You could be right, but it's a strange business strategy to run a business down, when you are trying to sell it. A lot of planning applications have been turned down, but accepted at a later date.
Greyhound trainers have had a rise of about 50p per race over the last 10 years. It's had a lot of 4 dog races recently, as the trainers are going elsewhere. The stadium was making loads of money through entrance fees, drink, food & the tote, with better crowds than speedway. Scoobydo is on the money with building land in my opinion.
