  1. Graversen is good round Leicester but not many other places. If he signed his average would drop in my opinion. Not that I think he will be considered.
  2. Think Jorgensen & Blackbird did enough to be in this years team. Looking at the team with Auty at 3 & Douglas at reserve, this seems unlikely.
  3. With a bit of tweaking, would it be possible to share an air fence? Must be worth investigating.
  4. Really good news that Ricky is making progress. Was at the meeting where he was injured, & it still gives me a cold shiver down my spine when I think about it.
  5. Thanks for the good news Greg. Think he was unlucky to be in a team that was struggling & under pressure to make changes. When he is in full flow he is very entertaining to watch. Hope he recharges his batteries over the winter, & comes back fully commited.
  6. Morganbike, you haven't answered the question whether you thought the 2 teams were evenly matched last night. Wolverhampton is a difficult track for away teams who have young inexperienced riders, & Dudleys top 4 all ride it really well. IOW were leading after 4 heats due to e/f & falls.
  7. So you think the teams were evenly matched last night ? A full strength IOW team could have possibly improved the racing, but the team was weak due to injuries.
  8. Heard last night at Dudley that Jake Knight had retired again. Hope its not true because he still has enough talent to be a steady PL rider in my opinion.
  9. Big crowd & brilliant atmosphere, but awful racing in my opinion. Unsure whether that was down to the track, which appeared to be deep but slick, or the huge gulf in the quality of the 2 teams. Think Dudley should go Premier League next season & start their team building with Morris & Blackbird at reserve.
  10. I have got the top package with Virgin, & have just got BT Sport added for free. Will Premier Sports be the same?
  11. If its not KKS, we now have a serious challenger for the biggest idiot on the forum lol.
  12. Philip Rising in my opinion is very good at giving information on this forum, & its always fair & balanced. The forum would be a much worse place without him.
  13. Think its more about attitude than age. Most riders could get an extra 20% improvement if they spent more time in the gym, & less time in the pub. Another big factor is sponsorship. Woffie is a good example, because he has dedicated his life to speedway, & is reaping the benefits. Pedersen, Hancock etc are prolonging their careers doing the same.
  14. If Scunny keep the 6 that finished the season, what points are left to replace Howe. Sorry in advance to David, but im not sure that you will be fit for the start of the season , or if you are planning on riding next year in the Premier League. If you are, then I wouldn't want to be picking the team, because nobody deserves to be left out in my opinion. The team that finished the season would have won the League if we had started with them in my opinion.
  15. You said I was completely wrong, so how would you interpret that rather than nonsense?
  16. Shame Joe has decided to take a break, because he made great strides last season. Expect finance is a big issue, because on good equipment he is a useful rider. Hope he comes back next year.
  17. Nightshift, it matters because Neb basically said I was talking nonsense, & then talks nonsense his self.
  18. Now you need to try again Neb, because that is not true. He only left because the Leicester management decided to rest Lewis in favour of Branford. If you know any of the Leicester riders, you will realise that most of them don't get on with the track. Lewis didn't do too bad with the track Saturday from where I was standing.
  19. Still waiting for your version of events reference Lewis Blackbird Neb.
  20. I await your version of events with interest Neb. The meetings Blackbird was asked to cover were meetings when Branford was riding abroad. Instead of just saying im wrong, tell me why im wrong. I hope all the young Brits find regular Premier & Elite berths, but don't think the Leicester track helps their confidence. The last statement is just my opinion, & is not meant to stir the anti Leicester mob up again.
  21. Didn't look like Ricky hit the fence from where I was, but it looked serious. Just hope & pray that he makes a full recovery, because that's all that really matters.
  22. Neb ive done my homework, & trust me that's the FACTS.
  23. Blackbird was asked to share with Branford & decided he needed a full time Premier League spot & Scunthorpe were looking to replace Bates. If Leicester hadn't introduced Branford, Lewis would have still been a Lion. So as it has turned out, with Branford scoring less than Blackbird,it was a bad decision by the management. Think they got carried away with Branfords under 21 win.
  24. Well Lewis Blackbird certainly came back to Leicester & proved a point. He rode really well, & showed the Leicester management that they made a huge mistake in letting him go. Throw in Lewis Kerr, & they have let 2 up & coming Brits go elsewhere & prosper. Wonder if Branford will do the same if he can go to a track that doesn't knock the confidence out of him.
