With some juggling the meeting is still on youtube. Isoaho won, suolammi had a spectacular off while second. Max has been riding ice now for two seasons. This was his first meeting, but he’s been riding regularly and weekly with his mates in the area.
-
Max to hospital with a knee injury. AAR disqualified so Max 3rd and SuoLammi and Isoaho to ride for the title.
-
Max Koivula has ridden less meetings in any track racing sport than AAR has active years in the sport and look what happened...

A bit of a bummer with the stream and internet. They are having problems with internet connection... https://youtu.be/QmU444kh5TA

Yes saturday... Sorry. Track should be ok, it was covered with snow until thursday and has been exposed to serious minus grades since. Today it’ll be closer to zero with snowfall and sleet later on, so I expect Ian to miss his footie totally.
-
First heat at noon, expect the final to start at 14.27 local. Link for SATURDAY: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXWCX9m2ulychQVaSoVFs9w

ATM it looks like the Finnish final will be ridden without a crowd at Kauhajoki on saturday. Meeting starts at 11.45AM and a youtube link will be provided later on that provides a stream from the meeting.

Where in the rules does it say that it's changed? From memory FIM rules state the thickness of the wire and the size of the "hole" or what ever is the word for that...
-
Yeah well... 15-20 years ago there were meetings to ride in and you could probably get up to 20 (or more) meetings in your calendar if you wanted to. Ian knows better, but you had Santa Cup, Golden Spike, individuals, Swedish Elit and WC qualis and the lot...
-
Winning both days in Togliatti would have been 3500€ in prize money. SGP winner gets about 12k € a round.
-
Last minute nature? Its been on the calendar for two months...

All FIM meetings need a FMN (acu) and they need a local club. Cardiff has always been promoted by BSI, dont know which local/uk club they use. Or they just use acu.
-
U said it needs FIM approval and I said thats not a problem. FIM is not about health and safety. It dont need a speedway promoter to have SGP at Odsal. They need a bspa/acu licensed promoter that says I have this guy, he pays, lets do it at Odsal.
-
Why not? Fences not a problem, safety areas not a problem... what else is there? I mean they changed track size in the rulebook to fit Cardiff...

Reading all of the above the time window at the border, that was arranged as a special deal at one specific crossing, is quite wide.

Like moomin says, if you have sanctions, they should be applied accordingly. Then again, ice racing has bugger all to do with the reason there are sanctions. Dont know about other countries, but SML is actually a part of the Finnish Olympic Committee. So if it were Finland in question here, crap rolls down hill to every Finnish speedway rider...

How many u21’s showed up to the training day you organised and paid for?
