Wolves V Coventry Mon 6th June 2016
heathen chemistry replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
the whole reserve draft rules are a joke, the protected heats cause inflated averages for the top draft riders....the problem lies with them being allowed to move up into the main body at the moment the top draft riders are in a sort of limbo land , scoring haevily in reserve but struggling when in main body yes some have gone straight into heat leader roles and thats a joke , but i think even going up to number 2 they are still struggling imo theyve tried to progress the system too fast , it really is a joke when youve gone from nl riders at reserve one year = to having karlsson, bech, pedersen, etc at reserve the next they have to go back to the draft as it was last year, the cream will rise to the top and progress naturally , -
rolling averages - yes ..ellis went from 3.00 to 8.00 in only a handful of meetings , his average will now never go back down to 3 , will probably hover around 6 ,as he yoyo's but if he's at reserve the last few weeks of the season and he starts his stint on a 6 and he ends the season at reserve his average will no doubt go up to well over 7 , what happens next season when he starts on a 7+ ? and thats just one example,

the reserve rules are all wrong, how a rider like pk can be reserve and take 7 rides and he will no doubt be taking a ride off the draft rider that got promoted into the team is a joke the team that can get a quality rider to drop down just in time for the playoffs will have a big advantage, -
the milky bar kid rides at reserve in sweden so does his brother mikael, even kk was a reserve the other week

wonder if the belle vue management are pissed off with having to run bf when sky want it on, we.ve just had a bank holiday wouldnt it of been an idea to have it then, if it had to be a monday bank holiday is surely the best, more fans , kids off school etc or maybe sky preffered to show the amatuer tiddlywinks world final in preference -
Second Half Meetings....
heathen chemistry replied to Gresham's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
imo every league match should have a second half of entertainment, be it juniors, or just practice races for the main team would like to see some sort of match races between team members or riders on the fringes of being in the main team , against current main team reserves etc the mdl is a great way for tryin to bring thru unknown talent -

inconsistant referreeing regarding starts is getting rather out of hand, cook gets excluded live on sky after havin a warning , but he wasnt told of it, then hans andersen had a warning today , rolled again and wasnt excluded . and i think won the race.... -
i find it slightly strange how sandhu has links to brandon estates based in jersey was sandhu forced to sell , if so under what reasons , remember the court case a few years ago a money laundering/mobile phone scam and a bloke claiming to own half the stadium

-
carnt understand why sandhu would ask for his regular saturdays, when he says the lease runs out october ..... something not right another thing is the new owners (brandon estates) are located in jersey, offshore tax arrangemet?

Warnings - Why Not Public
heathen chemistry replied to Star Lady's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
first time he didnt jump, second time he did the first one looked like he did because the outside tape moves slightly before the inside tape due to slack sometimes a rider makes a perfect start would like to hear from cook if he was warned for the first one, cuz if he was i dont think he'd of jumped the second, as for saying if the ref says before the meeting if any rider jumps twice there out yes thats ok , but he still has to inform the rider who he deemed jumped the first time or how would they know there on a warning.... -
not as much fun as last night ...

in the 1986 world final neil evitts admitted to gambling at the start in his heats ,virtually ending erik gundersens chance of winning the title 3 times on the trot in todays times the race would be brought back and done fairly , and could of changed history and erik winning 3 on the spin (he'd already beat nielsen in the heats)
