  1. yes its quite well paid, BUT look at the costs.... new bikes, engine tuning, equipment, the list is almost endless , when you subtract all that , whats left ?
  2. consistently fast starter, remember the first time i saw him in early 1990, he wasnt that easy to pass , quik out the gate ,but he wasnt slow during the race
  3. being a gp rider shouldnt stop him doubling up/down stonehewer was a gp rider he rode premer lge as for bomber not liked by other clubs- wat a pathetic post, every club he guests for say how they wish he could ride for them , his 100 % never die attitude and commitment shows this.. if coventry close there will be a number of clubs after his services,
  4. monster might be bad for you long term as far as additives and sugar, but people take it before going to the gym , maybe some riders aswell caffeine gives u a kick , makes u train harder ....therefore burn more calories as for promoting it, well why not if there gonna pay him who really gonna say no
  5. experienced yes, but as track time goes he doesnt get that much compared to other riders, he only rides for coventry track time is vital to iron out any engine issues, why he isnt allowed to double up is beyond me , we have cook, lambert and king doubling up , and in most peoples eyes they are atm above bomber in the pecking order for the wc squad......
  6. he changes when hes low on speed, which seems to change from match to match sometimes. getting the set up right is very hard sometimes, not the best prep for a british final thou starting on an untested engine , gtr seems to be going better with lindgren althou bomber has his measure at monmore on the gm bar does bombers gm's
  7. maybe he needs to get a move on a sign one before another rider gets pinched from under his nose fyi woryna loves it a cov
  8. if poole wanted a squad system then why have they yet to name a rider at number 8?
  9. what was the point of a fans forum if you dont take unedited unscripted questions from the floor? a lot of things unanswered bspa need to be tranparent we need to know what promoter/s are responsible for the rules and who voted them in ,
  10. bees have 5 riders in british final, harris ,king , garrity, bates, barker
  11. which rider will be allowed 7 rides.. 6 man teams would mean 3 sets of pairings, then in other races mix it up 1+2 , 3+4 ,5+6. then 1+3 , 2+4 , 3+5, 2+6, etc etc would it work thou
  12. not enough riders for one big amalgamated league, riders wouldnt want it, theyre happy riding for 2 clubs = more money, with one league some riders would be at risk of quitting due to not earning enough to pay engine bills and those that do would no doubt be cutting back on spending which would mean inferior equipment, hindering them on the world stage a bigger elite 10 teams would be better, but i dont think there are those that want to join,
  13. i think your arguement flawed, the rider getting deliberately knocked off happened after the race, so if a footballer broke another player leg after the whistle while walking back to the changing rooms would he get the same punishment ? i think there would be outcry for a total ban on the player , ive never heard of a footballer being fined 100,000 for swearing! and if they was its only a weeks salary to them
  14. lets put this in context helmsley fined £9000 and 12 month ban for basically abusive behaviour, was anyone assaulted, hospitalised, is there a police investigation for gbh???? ( im not saying hemsley is innocent im saying the punishment does not fit the crime by bsap/scb standards) a rider deliberately knocks a rider off, injures rider , rider misses rest of season..............penalty----- £200 fine and 2 week ban i rest my case....
  15. valuable? thats an opinion.... was he charged with assault, is there a police investigation? beligerant, confrontational, dictorial and egotistical are not ciminal, they are describing someones personality they also describe some of the other promoters, the fine imposed is scandalous , on appeal that will be reduced im sure ,
  16. Absolute joke ....hemsley speaks his mind , yes he was out of order, but he's a passionate individual...a fine that big is a scandal. no one got hurt, no one was hospitalised, the charge of bringing the sport into disrepute can be hung on to all promoters just read some of there press releases.... one of matt fords press releases was the banning of an official, ( a referee) chris durno from being able to officiate at poole anymore due to him wat ford thought was wrongly excluding a poole rider there have been many others where ford and other promoters have slammed each other, the rules , the scb, officials etc in the press
  17. change is good as long as its for the better, the problem is with the bspa its usually for the worse and then changed back the next season the draft rules this year are a joke and no doubt they will go back to last seasons draft rules a transparent agm is what we need, and a fans referendum on the rules to be drafted.
  18. more meetings , he needs to get his track sorted first, it carnt hold up to a match every fortnight, more meetings would mean more holes appearing
  19. its not the team(wolves) that im havin a go at its the rules themselves, teams will obviously use the rules to there advantage, but its the rules that are wrong but guess who decided the rules the same people who are now using them to there advantage, this is what needs to change a transparent agm , which promoter drafted the rule, which promoters voted them in , fully transparent , whats to hide
  20. he rides as good as a number 1 at monmore it will only be his away form that could drop his average ,
  21. why not just make it the reserves have to be brits under 25 , and perhaps have a maximum combined average for the 2 at the start of the season, one reserve race . the other race to include second strings and no tacticals allowed
  22. there will be a few riders with inflated averages , which could render them unemployable next season if a top 5 rider ie pedersen, karlsson, klindt, was to have a spell at reserve in the last few matches of the season there average will be ridiculous compared to what they started on the same could be said for ellis, maybe newman, and a few others are they then going to scrap all this seasons averages and start 2017 on 2015 starting figures?
