You are like a dog with a bone, with the whole Lemon situation. Why dont you give it a rest and stop winding fans on the Glasgow and Somerset forums up. If I were you I would be more concerned with the possible problems in the team you support!
-
And why would that be?
-
Yes Peterbrough at home, according to the Devils site

Biggest Disapointment....

Sounds like the Plymouth fans might well have the biggest disappointment then! -
Which Riders Will Miss Out?

Bech has signed for Lakeside and is not looking for a premier team spot -
Agree. Im well aware of the Lemon situation at Plymouth, but it was badly handled by the promotion. Good luck to Mark and Glasgow in 2014.
-
You got your wish, he's not riding at Plymouth and you have given your opinion on him, so why don't you leave it at that and stop making detrimental remarks about him.
-
Doesn't make sense to me either. As you said its not your money and neither is it my money but as a fan who has only missed a couple of meetings since Plymouth reopened and have also spent alot of money following them away from home, I would much rather see a young Brit in the team than an untried foreigner on an assessed average. I have to be honest though and say I have little knowledge of Benko, so perhaps the "management" have made the right decision and we should reserve judgement until we have seen him ride.
-
I'm sure it would improve even more if you' ignored' everyone who didn't share the same views as you!
-
Yes Plymouth are well rid of him but it shouldnt have got to the stage where they had to drop him. He should never have been considered for a team spot in the first place. Very poor from the promotion imo

There have been many negative comments by Mikey T both on here and on the Plymouth forum. You are entitled to your opinion Mikey but Opiniontated and everyone else are entitled to theirs too, isnt that what forums are about?
-
[quote name="Mikeyt" post="2379301" timestamp="1386102475" Quite agree, Barker may end up around his start at 9.44 but Newman and Davies going away from Somerset where their averages are heavily favoured towards their home scores will surely see them drop. They may get dialled in after a while but if Davies improves on 7.3 I'd be shocked! imo thats pretty much spot on. Newman will be ok away but at Plymouth last year, he got 2+1, 3+1, 3+1 so he will have to get dialled in to the home track pretty quickly to maintain his average

I agree with u mikey

Sorry if i misinterupted your previous post. I agree entirely with your comments regarding have an ex rider in the pits. I just think Lemon has upset a fair few people at Plymouth this year, judging by comments on the Devils forum.

No probs. Ive seen Connor ride quite a few times and have no doubt that he will be one to watch for the future. He was thrown in at the deep end but hope he enjoyed and learnt from the experience. -

My gripe is exactly your point, as a fan of British speedway i dont agree with the way things have been done. Im well aware that this has happened before and is more than likely to happen again. I fear for the future of the sport and have done for many years and things like this dont help. Im a speedway fan not a Plymouth fan, hence the name Former Devil. -
Agree with almost all of what you are saying about the lack of experience behind the scenes. However, personally i would steer clear of Lemon, particularly after the inappropriate comments he made about Paul Starke on a social media site last week.

Well from reading people's opinions on this subject on various different sites, it seems that is exactly what people are saying. He rode enough meetings to be made an asset and get an average for next year. It was always likely from the day he signed that this was likely to be the case!! Is it any wonder fans from other clubs are saying he has taken the mick out of British speedway this year? -

Congratulations Glasgow and glad James left the sport on a high. Plymouth were a disgrace by the sound of it. I feel for the supporters who paid their hard earned money to watch it. No doubt their "management" will make excuses that it is end of season and they couldn't get a stronger team together etc but the paying public deserve so much better. -

Mikkel Bech...whats Happening?
Former devil replied to Opinionated's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Have to say I totally agree with these observations. He is doing the club no favours at all and there are many others on the terraces saying the same. He showed how unprofessional he was at last nights meeting. He has obviously been upset by some of Opinionated's remarks as during the meeting he walked towards the third and fourth bends and said over the tannoy "welcome to the S.B.A Opinionated"!! I doubt many of the fans knew what he was talking about, but having read this thread myself I think its fairly obvious what he was trying to do. Anyone that puts themself in the public eye must be able to handle any criticism in a professional manner. He is obviously not capable of doing this. -

The statement i made is 100% factual, no need to be so patronising.
