pete cc replied to stevec's topic in National League Speedway
Cold, you've not been to Buxton yet. -
Now i remember what defeat tastes like, Bitter & not very pleasant, i hope i don't have to get used to it.
-
nice to see a close meeting, pity we didn't win.Hope the injurys to both riders are minor,
-
i do hope that Brum are far better this week, they won't win but its national league.Improve every week, thats what its all about.

Birmingham Vs Cradley (ch) 18th March 2015
pete cc replied to 21st century heathen's topic in National League Speedway
Meeting 1, Cradley were flat out, on the gas from heat 1. Birmingham were not.I was expecting more from brum but, couldn't have expected heathens to be that good.Stick with it Birmingham fans you won't have to race us every week. -
i hope that you enjoy & continue to enjoy for many years to come. Welcome to the NL.

when you see a young lad ride 3 great laps & then throw it into the air fence without any pressure, you may wonder what was he doing. He was trying to entertain you instead of using his head & keeping what he had got. This will be seen at all tracks this season but, the ones who learn from it will maybe riding for the team who wins the league.enjoy.

From what i saw yesterday, the team who spends less time sliding along on their backsides will win. An early match like this will give no indication of the season to come. -

come & watch the national league, cost less to get in -
just having a little fun to amuse myself while waiting for the season to start.
-
just wanted to get heathens back to the top of the page.
-
Not a wheel has turned & people are already bemoaning about young british riders. Get behind them, they will over ride, fall off or do something daft but without our support they will not improve. just sit back and see the progress they make. You may be surprised.
-
agree with most of this(never been to eastbourne)
-
but you will win nothing by winning just your home meetings. 1.Cradley 2.Birmingham 3.Mildenhall. Eastbourne 4th/5th at best. Its the away wins that really count.

I hear that more aussie riders are being turned away. Will this mean that promoters will turn to more second rate eastern european riders or Back the brits. Ithink i know which way they will turn. -
Luke Chessell will improve as the season goes on if he just stops on the bike & not the floor.
-
aHH Damn, i could fit in any where & i know the lingo,( Hoe biss jockey lad.)
-
so, if i am a fifth generation aussie who had a great aunt who used to own a staffordshire bull terrier & liked watching eastenders, what average do i get ?

Where Are The National League Fixtures?
pete cc replied to OldHawk's topic in National League Speedway
Surprise!! you can all stop moaning now & book your days off work. -
All this talk of who is dropped for who is nothing to do with any of us. What Eastbourne want to do must be whats best for Eastbourne. When in business you must do whats best for that business, if it all goes ** up, thats the time to start giving it the i told you so.

NL fixtures take longer to compile because they have to be made up better than the others leagues
