Shane Colvin gets around .... Anybody have the results of the first round of the Dutch Open yesterday? -
For a glimpse of speedway racing Argentinian style, go to http://www.speedwaytotal.com.ar/inicio.html and select "Argentinian Video" from the left-hand menu. Then try "Galeria" in top menu and select "Video" I think our air fence is rather safer than their stacks of tyres!

New Slovenian Speedway Website
TwoMinuteWarning replied to tomazpozrl's topic in International World of Speedway
Excellent, tomaz. The new site and the old forum together should give great coverage of the region. Congratulations! By the way, which countries' licence is Matej Ferjan riding under this year? Brian (who is looking forward to visiting Krsko and Gorican in April!) -
Preliminary rounds are at Daugavpils (27 May) and Miskolc (28 May) This thread should be in the World Cup section!

Surprised to see sidecars on such a small track, but then it is pretty wide. I would imagine that the racing would be close on such a small track (180 metres?) -
Kaparna Speedway Fixtures 2006

Does this mean that the British Elite League fixtures were available BEFORE the Swedish fixtures? This must be a first! -

Thanks for posting the full results, kiwi, much appreciated. Has the international series now finished? -
I have that book, iris123 - highly recommended - all you ever wanted to know about Swedish speedway, and then some.

Think I'm right in saying that a chain guard is compulsory (quite rightly!), so losing it makes the bike illegal, therefore the rider gets excluded. But whether that is a British ACU rule, or an international FIM rule, I don't know. Thanks to everyone involved in bringing us live updates from Adelaide, great job guys!
