  1. Bloody hell, mate! You're not blaming the BSPA for this one, are you? C'mon Mr Watson, a simple answer. Elementary?
  2. Means nothing, mate. He was named at No 5 for last week's rained-off meeting, and he was named at No 2 for the Saturday match. Sheffield really don't get it, do they?
  3. Nope, because he came over to race at Wolves and Somerset. His visa (and a good few others) presumably named these employers. So it might be another club will no longer be able to take over a foreign rider from his designated club(s) during the season.
  4. Adam Roynon is currently in the Sheffield Tigers' 1-7.
  5. According to BSPA website (great thing this internet) the Sheffield 1-7 still has Adam Roynon in it. Sheffield's own website is talking about "including new boy Proctor" on Thursday. Less than 53 hours before the tapes go up, and the rule-book says the home team must notify the visitors of their line-up at least 5 days before the meeting, and notify the referee, BSPA, etc, of both teams at least 3 days before. Can I ask - have Sheffield asked to change their 1-7? Has permission, apparently denied on Saturday, now been granted for any change? Was this within the (72-hour?) deadline?
  6. This Horton guy seems to have trouble with tracks, eh? Coventry at the ELRC, now Peterboro when the league leaders are in town. So what exactly is the Health & Safety issue? Is it Ryan Fisher?
  7. Cannot agree. Sheffield seem to have erred in not doing a signing properly, but advertising it before BSPA had approved it. In a way, BSPA were picking up the pieces.
  8. From where I'm standing mate, Craig Cook isn't winning all these matches for Edinburgh. Steve Worrall is.
  9. Proctor would NOT have made his debut as a Tiger, according to my information. His inclusion in the Tigers' 1-7 was NOT approved in time for Thursday night.
  10. On what possible grounds? Which of the Management Committee decided that -- seems at least a couple of them have vested interests in the situation.
  11. If Sheffield are allowede to use r/r for Ty Proctor before he has ridden for them, it opens a can of worms. Is Rob Godfrey on the Management Committee? Is Chris Van Straaten (Ty's owner) on the Management Committee? Is r/r for Proctor, or for Adam Roynon? Sheffield seem to be getting a remarkably smooth ride in the face of a pretty inefficient signing process, if Ty still isn't even declared in their 1-7 on the BSPA site.
  12. Too true. Plymouth are finding out some cold, hard facts this week.
  13. I got a text telling me Roynon was dumped, would be going to Scunthorpe instead.
  14. I've really enjoyed reading this stuff, made me smile. Best wishes from home to Matthew and Kevin for your season. Ned
  15. We are told here of a definate no-go for Joe Ringwood getting a visa this year. As I follow all the Aussies riding in Europe that is a pity. Who will Glasgow use in his place?
  16. This will be superb meeting, and with the Under-16 Australian 250cc title being staged at the same meeting, there will be something like 45 races for the money.
  17. The tracks at Gillman and Mildura have properly-approved airfences, while Kurri-Kurri has a barrier which came from a road-racing circuit, it is an airfence but may not be FIM-approved. Undera has no soft barrier at all.
  18. The run-off was one of the best races I've ever seen. Does anyone have video?
