  1. I agree garf! We've just been looking at the Final line up and KB should be right up there! I think there are only 2 riders that could beat him! But i guess you cant rule out any of the 6(?) poles!! Go KB+Rory!
  2. GO KAJ!!!! I knew he'd win it! Pretty good day to be an Aces rider really..........unless your one of the ones at Eastbourne..........

  4. confused now..........the result sayd that Jaros was 2nd in the rerun??
  5. Thank you Champion.......was getting frustrating not being able to tell what was being said!
  6. what does the w/su stand for in heat 11?? i know its something about Jaros.......but what??
  7. Well Done KB!!!! Rory has won his first race in Austria too...........so fingers crossed!
  8. Thanks tomaz..........you really do know everything dont you!!!!!
  9. Are both meeting running at the same time??? Might have to be sat watching updates for a while tonight (social life out the window!) with 3! Belle Vue riders(GO KB, Rory+Jan!!!) as well as a few brits it should all be very interesting!
  10. Im glad that both KB+PUK are getting a go......they so deserve it and i was expecting one of them to miss out and JBJ get a place!
  11. Also says this in the Daily Mail TV Paper!!! Wonder if anyone will turn up at the Millenium Stadium?? lol
  12. Wouldnt be surprised if the lack of meetings in the UK is starting to effect KB's riding Hopefully his sharpness will return in time for cramming all the fixtures in at Belle Vue in August!
  13. Well i have read most of the posts on this thread(though there are FAR too many to read them all! From what I saw there WAS contact but it was minimal and its pretty much a case 6 of 1 and 1/2 a dozen of another! The ref HAD to exclude someone........as there was contact that person was rightly Nicki! But i dont think Nicki did anything on purpose..........if it had been on purpose there would have been much more contact! I also noticed the length of this thread compared to the positive thread about Nicki
  14. Is it any wonder that our young guys are nowhere near the standard of riders from other countries!!!! Look at top young riders from Sweden, Denmark, Poland and Aus we have no one who even comes close!! Taking part in a competition like this would build on confidence and experience and go part of the way to trying to pull our guys up to the same standard as other countries! Not wishing to offend anyone, but now that Harris, Stead and Howe (and maybe a few more) are over 21 we dont really have ANY riders at under 21 level who can compete with the likes of Lindback, Bjerre etc
  15. to me it looked like KB was going under Lee to pass him and Lee leaned on him, in effect taking himself off because KB was pinned to the inside! KB wasnt at fault and it REALLY annoyed me that every race KB was in after that Millard said how lucky he had been! A MUCH better night from Tony Steele tonight compared to the last GP he did!
  16. I agree! Once Jason gets the first one out of the way he is young enough and capable enough to win a couple of titles (maybe even 3 or 4)
  17. Credit where credit is due, good on Nicki for trying his best to clear the track! He was also in a lovely mood when interviewed afterwards! He restored some of my lost respect for him tonight! Also...........i dont think he deliberatly took Jason out earlier on in the night, it was just an accident!
  18. Well Done Jason! You had me worried to start with..........first couple of rides were a bit scary to watch and the apparent injury after the crash with Nicki did my nerves no good! But a GREAT ride when it was needed! Well Done to Andreas..........I tipped him to win the final! Ideal result for Jason tonight with Hancock only getting 3rd and Adams 4th in his semi! Well Done to KB too........and the other Ace Kaj on winning his(and finlands) first race victory in a GP!
  19. Well impressed with KB, getting to the semi's, like i said he would and beating Adams in the process! Jason will love him for that! PUK was also great!
  20. Re: Aussies..... Their top 3 are obvious but with the retirement of Todd Wiltshire and Jason Lyons's shocker of a year it leaves a gaping hole in the team! Jason Crump said at the start of the year that some of the younger guys need to step up a level because after Crumpy, Adams + Sully there is a big gap in aussie talent!! I think Adam Shields(particulally at Eastbourne), Travis McGowan and Rory Schlein should all be seriously considered for a team place! If Sheilds is injured, I'd pick Crump Sullivan Adams McGowan Schlein If not then I'd swap McGowan for Sheilds
  21. Finally someone else noticed! It drives us mad when Leigh Adams constantly talks about the "A"!
  22. JC Nicki P Leigh Adams Jarek Hampel Kb to get into the semis!!!
  23. So will I! I decided to give it a miss this time round and was regretting it from the beginning of the week. I decided to give it a miss this time too (only just though!!) Im gutted i didnt go now!! Im going to be the first in the queue when the date is released for next year!
  24. I was reading in the speedway star and apparently Jason Crump and Tomasz Gollb have both had British wildcard entries! Also Kaj Laukkanen got a wildcard into the Norweigen GP 2 years back!
  25. Give him one for the Norweigen GP! He deserves it! He rode his heart out last night! Go on BSI..................you know you want to!!!
