I quite enjoyed the GP. Maybe more to do with the atmosphere than the racing but i will deffo be there again next year. As someone already mentioned, there was a huge thunderstorm at around 4.45 that, despite only being about 30mins long, layed an awful lot of water on the ground. Saying that, i feel i have been to a true meeting as spent the entire journey home picking bits of shale out of my hair and emptying it out of my pockets! Also, im slightly bemused as the only pictures i managed to to actually catch a rider in where ones of Nicki P, the rider that was going fastest of them all! Hard luck to Scott, and well done to Crumpy! Also, was fun spending time with various forumers - how cool was that beer factory? Cant wait for next year!

Vic Ridgeon - We bumped into various riders in Prague centre last year too. Saw AJ and Brian Andersen under the toilet trees and the bottom of Wenceslas Square and Crumpy around Old Town.

Makes me feel old that Kurtis is old enough to ride a speedway bike! even at youth level.

Skybet have Scotty at 50-1 i believe, he was at 66's on Friday but has since gone to 50's. I'd have Scotty at 50-1 over Bomber at 14's any day. I do honestly think that if Scotty is ever going to anything at a GP it will be this one.

We are staying right on Wenceslas Square this year, stayed just around the corner last year but have gone for an apartment rather than a hotel as there's 7, maybe 8 of us going. We found the speedway stadium so easy to get to last year, it was the football stadium we had more trouble with!! The hardest part of the whole experience was trying to work the tram ticket machines ...

My mum and dad use jet2 to backwards and forwards from Spain. Never had a problem with them.

Does anyone have a map locating the actual Stadium? Is it locally known as Marketa Stadium or something else? I've looked on several websites and am unable to find it anywhere, but there is a speedway track shaped stadium by the football grounds, does anyone know if thats it or not? Help Please

I had a fab time! Took a few GP newbies along as well as a complete speedway newbie and a good time was had by all (they have already said they are coming again next year) Like beesboybert, my only down point was the young lad who was, i would go as far as saying, harassing my friend (the total newbie). She was really enjoying her first taste of speedway only to have a complete stranger messing and ruffeling with her hair. she seemed to take it lightly at first but after the 50th time it started to grate on all of us. great to catch up with people who i hadnt seen for a while. my ideal result from the meeting too! took lots of photos (see the link in my signature) cant wait for next year now!! edit - apologies to who i think may well have been shazzybird! i heard someone mention my name from outside when i was at the hotel reception. i wasnt being ignorant - im sorry! we were all starving and had about 2 mins to order food before the take away closed!
