Belle Vue -v- Rye House
Fundinfan replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Kenneth and Harris seem to be a law to themselves with regards to Rye House. Perhaps now you can understand how the Coventry fans feel about the Sunday fiasco and your promotions couldn't care attitude to a long standing arranged fixture. -
well done Rye House, very poor reaction at this late stage. Coventry had a full team of riders ready to race and coaches planned for their supporters who had been looking forward to this meeting. Your excuses seem rather pathetic with this fixture being on the callender for most of the season!

Come on you Bees fans, let's have a good turnout for this one.lets make it count. -
perhaps a few sentences strung together would explain your reply?

More importantly at this time with just over a week to go to the challenge match atRye House, can we have some news of the team that the Bees will be using? It is important to keep the interest going with snippets of the efforts put in this season to keep the away support up to a decent level, the travelling support so far this season being enthusiastic but no news on a regular basis will soon loose interest in some quarters. Most will be looking forward to a decent Sunday away meeting plus the local derby at Leicester to follow. So let us all make the effort on these occasions to show the support that is there for our Bees.If there is enthusiasm, maybe further challenges will be arranged .

i think that it's a great shame that the challenges matches seem to have come to a halt. The turnout at Peterborough, Wolverhampton and to a lesser extent at Poole shows the support is there. I know we have Leicester and Rye House to come but it would be advantageous for the cause for visits to Kings Lynn and Belle Vue maybe along with any other fixtures that could be accommodated. Last weeks match at Leicester v Rye House was enjoyed by a number of Bees fans who enjoyed seeing NINE ex Bees on show. There are plenty of riders who could be called on for these challenges and would be good to see the likes of Ben Barker, Robbo, Ricky Wells along with the already used guys to make up the numbers let's hope that as the season goes on we can see the Bees on track on a regular basis and a return permanently in 2018.finally, nice to see D J Chris Simpson at Leicester last week amongst the faithfull!

Looking forward to a visit to the blue groove arena today to support the homeless Coventry Bees. Hope that there is a good turn out to watch the team , who to date have provided good competition in their away challenges. Enjoy the day by the sea folks! -
Mick Horton with anybody more like!

Nice to see David Bellego and Ben Barker in Friday's lineup. I mentioned these two riders only a couple of weeks ago as being useful to the Bees cause. perhaps someone does read the forums from Coventry after all! -
plodding is exactly what sarge has been doing for the last twelve months. Woryna has shown a lot more spirit and dedication to the team than most this season. Perhaps if Enzville didn't hand it all on a plate to Sargeant he may get his finger out and make a fist of things. Having watched the premier league meetings on Sky this week,I fear that Roynon is a disaster for us , guesting for us tonight. Surely having seen the performances of Fisher,Bellego and Jorgensen , all who are without a top league team place, a move should be made by the management. Also the refusal to use Ben Barker so far this season sums up the inept approach to success by Horton and his very specialised !,,,,! team seeing out the final season at Brandon.

King's Lynn V Coventry Bees (sky) Wed 22nd June
Fundinfan replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Sargeant has been rubbish for both of his league teams all year . It's obvious that he needs replacing as all the other riders put the effort in according to their ability. Replace him with either Roynon or Ben Barker and the jigsaw may be complete in time for a play off place. Maybe a return to the Storm team is what he needs to buck him up! -
Horton now expects schools and unis to write hundreds of letters to enable their students to be allowed to get a concession at the speedway. It's only taken five days to come up with this farcical answer to such a ridiculous problem that exists in his head. You are a deluded txxssxr!

So,another knee jerk reaction fron the biggest jerk in Coventry promotional history. He annoyed the pensioners now he's dishing the students. What will be left? Doesn't he realise that he has been the one stealing from the fans for years, serving up this season a team of no hopers who may just about cut it in the premier league. The mans history is a catalogue of disasters. The removal of Colin Pratt, the falling out with Blayne , the falling out with the best presentation team and centre green presenter ,the Simpson brothers. Cancelling the aftermeeting music and get together with the riders. Putting together a shocking team with the help of a team manager who as a rider was great but lacks any credentials as team manager. No Horton and Watsons experience and passion for Coventry remains at zero. It will be mainly Horton who kills off speedway in Coventry . He alone has reduced a nights entertainment to the dark ages of speedway with his lack of finesse in dealing with people who had the best interests of the club at heart throughout recent years.

Listen to Hortons blog. Another smokescreen by the buffoon that has the best interests of Coventry at heart.he does not find anyone to blame for this shambles so I suggest he looks closer to home once again after his many cock ups in the past and this season with his people skills. You are the promoter at Cov, you wanted to call it off in the morning, you are responsible for the riders, team manager and more importantly answerable to your public. Grow some xxxxs and act like a man, stand up for what you represent for once in your life and get the respect of those around you who have faith in Coventry Speedway. I do not think the C.O. Would have hesitated in calling this meeting off whatever the consequences.the saving grace is that when you're gone and forgotten Coventry Speedway will march on regardless.

another Gelsenkirchken by the tossers running the GP series. time they moved out and put this circus to bed. -
I hope that P>T>Preece is not going to turn out to be the re incarnation of that unpleasant body S> Shovlar, turning up frequently on both the Coventry and Birmingham sites. I think it rather rude to suggest that the centre green presenter at Coventry is deaf to say the least. Obviously with the Brummies out of action at the moment Mr Preece has wandered down the M6 to Cov to spread some mischief. Previous moans re management, team selection etc etc. You epitimise what is wrong with the BSF, just go and enjoy the racing matey, the rest is incidental

Stoke Speedway Track Work Update
Fundinfan replied to Swift Saint's topic in National League Speedway
A couple of seasons ago Stoke seemed to be making the effort to come up to date and provide some sort of professional entertainment package by employing the team from Coventry to provide music and rider jingles and an enthusiastic centre green presenter. This seemed to work well, but with dwindling crowds with meeting delays, generator problems and a far from engaging lady promoter behind the bar, things are as they are today, a total disaster.Maybe a new promotion could make things work, but you do need someone to put in some funds to give the punters a real night out at Loomer Road.
