Let's hope we get even a half of last Sunday's crowds in 2022 after all they came out in there numbers to prove that speedway is wanted on Tyneside

I would have thought that the sad passing of Dave ( Ben's dear friend & supposedly mentor ) that it would inspire him to ride & do Dave proud .. but I suppose some people take thing's differently

Neve took the p@ss out of me at all but they did f@ck Rob over tho .. & I gave 48 weeks of every Sunday without fail working in all kinds of weather during January February march along with all other hard working volunteers to get the place ready for the season & which I could have gone to work to earn a few Bob ! Which during the winter weekends if we never had went in the speedway would never have been ready in time & we did put on the speedway website for extra helpers but nobody botherd to turn up & help out... But they would soon criticise on the forum that things weren't ready as we would still be getting things ready on press day.. if we are saved for next season I'm sure you'll be made welcome to join the team

A big fat zero as I also bought season tickets for years & years & will still buy them now & if hopefully somebody rescues us ( how about you ) how many have you had ?

Maybe but the ones who I worked closely with never but we did get cups of tea & biccys

Nice 1 why have free entry ? Even if the track staff are allowed a guest or 5 as the previous promotion did if your face fitted .. surely they could have paid at least a ten spot & that would ( I may be wrong ) encouraged the freebies to carry it on & we may be alright now

Unfortunately the stadium owners probably regard the rent as loose change

Wages for volunteering duties ?? It was done out of love for the club & would gladly do it again if we do come to the tapes in 2022

If only people knew how Mr Newcastle speedway ( George ) ran it & never mind the VAT carry on & also his co promotion team .. I think fans would think hang on here what's been going on .. & Rob had to find out the hard way after some of the MOTHS came out the Newcastle speedway closet... So shame on the previous promotion for letting Rob grant to sort all your s@@te out.. it's a pure disgrace & I hope yous get what it coming to yous

Yip as it creates plenty of debt for our banks/building societies etc who offer deals on mortgages which is still very hard for our younger generations to get onto the Ladders as it's the money people who buy up the plots & flog them on at a bigger profit

Don't think you'd get many Newcastle fans wanting to go to Redcar even tho we could possibly start running transport ( coaches ) again.. but could we get enough interest running if only it could happen

Well all I'm going to say before I get me head down for another 16 hour shift tomorrow.. is that the previous promotion should ( hopefully ) be brought to justice for f@@king rob grant junior over & all there hangers ons ( & yes yous know who yous are ) let's hope the VAT men take them all the way to the cleaners & hopefully a few days months or even years in the big house is just what they deserve as they have took the p@ss out of the supporters for years at Newcastle speedway judging by what has gone on before our new owners took it on

Also whoever would take it on & they will need a huge money pit ( Mr Ashley ) as if they found a piece of land you can bet your bottom dollars that the likes of miller homes etc will gladly step on the toes to build another unaffordable housing development

It'll be a tough night come ht 15 when the realisation curtains start drawing in on our famous club which has been 1 of the best in the country trophy wise across the board from world champs national League riders champs League cup & fours champs & we have great memories

If some don't fancy the track walk & want some of the hallowed shale I've got plenty in my van off our young'ns bike from Sunday night so I'll fetch some up free of charge lol but any donations goes to the club ha
