Pity our former owner/ promoter / ex rider never asked Rob for help ( maybe he did but as Frank Sinatra sung ( I did it my way ) & look what happened ) & I still think that THJ had a good plan in the meeting we attended in November 2021 in the south gosforth club & we'd probably be still going & looking forward to the 2023 season imo

Brough park was certainly not a favourite of Lee's in terms of tracks but he did give it his all on track & did have some decent rides especially when he was in scoring position rides but unfortunately either got an EF or came off & tbh he was 1 of the better riders in a poor team

Cracking signing for the comets is young ACE !! From what I saw at the end of the season at Redcar ( he was mixing it with the top lads of the championship & beating some of them ) but what's more impressive is they way he conducts himself which stands him in good stead for the future & is a credit to his parents & can't wait for 2023 to see how he progresses

According to the SPEEDWAY grapevine there's some yourkshire grit heading to the tigers in 2023 on a 4 point ish average

Well if you think that I hope your spot on as keeping Jake at reserve will make a winning team so that means the riders at 2/3/4 have to hit a minimum of 6 points home & away all season which is a difficult ask

If we want to keep the Newcastle thread going ( what's the problem ) as I remember that when Redcar invited a Newcastle select side down this season after we closed redcar promoter Jamie swales said we need to keep the diamonds alive so let's keep the thread going & hopefully someone can come up with a package to resurrect the Newcastle diamonds again

He's got a good head on him for a young rider very professional
