Just seen your earlier post & I missed the IF highlight & I won't pass judgement until both story's are out in the open which may not even happen,,, in this week's speedway star concerning the lawlor Bickley thing there are 3 different versions such as Facebook / the promotion & both riders have had a say & some of the times mentioned or what time Joe was sacked & Kyle got the call is a bit mind boggling but that's just an example to what goes on so we may never find out the true version,,, but I'm sure someone will know !!

Instead of putting negative responses on here why not wait until the facts about this decision are released from all parties concerned then if it's a decision made by the club which is poor then you're within your writes to criticize but there is always to sides to every story at the end of the day,,,. As it happens it was very touch & go that we ran last season but I can't really remember of the years I've gone that there has never been on the verge of shutting.. do you get your information off a doom & gloomer sauce I wonder

So if a rider texts a promotion to say I'm going elsewhere as he's been offered a better deal which does happen as it did to the diamonds a few seasons ago & the rider was never mentioned which means that the promotion who have a hard enough job to assemble a team had to reschedule the team at the time & had to inform a couple of riders sorry but we've been dropped in it,,so is that WRONG

Yeah exactly as George is the most loyal promoter/ manager that had been in the sport for the last 20 odd years so I would guess that it's more likely to be on the the riders toes why he's been released from his contract..

I wouldn't be surprised if there is more comings & goings at Newcastle.. looks like the loyalty George used to show his riders has now gone ( but that is not a critical outburst towards the promotion as I'm sure there a genuine reasons behind it ) as the club does really well with sides assembled as long as I can remember 40 + years yes we've had some ups & downs over the years but generally it's been a good success on track & always good racing to watch,,, so let's get behind the 1 to 7 come the 29th of march down at Redcar

Agree but we need to be thankful we're still seeing speedway at the end of the day as it's getting harder & harder to run speedway every season up here in the north... I don't know what & when we could've got ready for the season up in toon if it wasn't for Danny & his dad as they have only been the only new faces to join the track team as there's only a hardcore of 7 of us #hardgraft

It would be great to see Josh embleton as the 4th diamond... But that's Ben's call !! As the lad really rides the track well

Wallinger has invested heavily on new gear this season & Kyle Bickley is progressing in the correct way & as it's a friendly 4 TT I'm sure the track time ( extra ) will do them the world of good,,, good on Ben for the invitation

Mmmmmmmmmm not sure on the silver but the conference did ( I think ) have a bronze best competition & we could still run 15 heats and 2nd halves if the 1st heat starts as stated at Newcastle quote ( Tapes up 18.30) rather than 18.40... 18.45 & especially in the early months people who like to stand outside don't get hacked off when it's cold
