Niels has made no secret of the fact that his shoulder injury has plagued his season. Yes he has been a shadow of his former self and it's been difficult to watch him struggle so much at times. I know for a fact that he has been asking Buster repeatedly to make the track slicker at Kings Lynn but his request fell on deaf ears, mainly because most of the other riders like it grippy. He has always looked better in heats 13 & 15 compared to the earlier heats as the track has lost some of it's grip. If he recovers fully, he'll be on a steel of an average in 2019 and i understand he IS keen on a return.

I think you'll find Harris will probably be the first on the list for Poole's 2019 line up. I've heard that Iversen is keen on a return to Kings Lynn despite the GP's. I'd like to see Kerr back but after the injury's he's had to deal with it could be a gamble. I would hope Lambert and Riss are certainties depending on rules.

Can only assume Busk Jakobsen wasn't available or prepared to guest tomorrow, otherwise can't see why Aarnio is being used again. To be fair not many options but can't see anything other than a Somerset win on aggregate. Hope i'm wrong!

Cook is certainly a loss for Belle Vue, but it'll still be a tight meeting IMO. Think the middle order of both teams will be vital. Which Tungate will turn up and will Worrall continue his improvement? against a Proctor who is still not 100% fit and a struggling Jorgensen of late. I would put Riss in the No4 spot and Jorgensen at No2, but that could be a risky change at this stage of the season. If Lynn can score 42 points or more I believe that would be a satisfactory night, obviously hoping for the win though. C'mon the Stars!!!

A result I would have taken before the start to be honest. Make's the return leg interesting. If Lambert had scored as expected, we'd have probably had a 4-6 point advantage ourselves. Slightly concerned at Jorgensen 's away form. Confident that we can win by 7 at home next week. Well done tonight to MPT and Iversen.

What is the official latest on Proctor's injury?

After last night's win and with 2 riders missing the pressure is well and truly off. Would be nice to put up more of a fight though!!

Anyone know if it'll be R/R or guest for Proctor? IMO a guest would be good simply because it's a double header. Adam Ellis?

If say only 12 heats get run and Lynn are within 6 points and the result is declared would they still get a bonus point??

FRN's hasn't caused the problem but the night (Wednesday) chosen most certainly has!!

A couple of weeks ago, all we got from Poole fans was " We're top of the League", now all of a sudden after a complete thrashing they never wanted to win the league anyway!!!

Quite a lot to do with it. A number of Wednesday's were unable to be used due to clashes with Denmark. If Thursday's were the FRN, there would be no clashes!!!

Agree that Erik Riss seems to be a great acquisition. Looked fast and on the pace from the off and makes us much stronger IMO. Interested to hear Dale say after the meeting that he didn't see the need to make changes to a winning team when questioned about Andersen possibly coming back to replace Simon Lambert. However according to Kasper's Facebook he says he's got his first meeting back in England on Monday???

I thought the racing was quite good tonight, although the fact the meeting was close always makes it feel better than it probably was. Lambert had engine issues in first 2 races then jumped on his spare bike and was chasing the set up!
