Workington v Berwick 06/07/2018 7:30pm Ch

As long as Kyle gets good track time this year i'm happy as he still has years to go in Speedway. Workington have certainly opened peoples eyes this year with their turnaround from last season. -
Redcar v Glasgow 17/5/18
Speedway4ever replied to SuperBear's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Very good meeting tonight. Glasgow give a good run, but the Redcar team came through. Jordan Stewart on fire tonight He impressed both sides of fans. Good to see some Glasgow supporters down and safe journey back. Wished I could make tomorrow at Glasgow. -
But Matej's race rained off he's coming over for Redcar meeting.

It's unfair for everyone involved a rider will be penalised if they don't do what their federation says and it's rules to suit from the Governing body here who they choose to acknowledge team wise when they can for some but not others. Like I said rules to suit with those here.
-
I hope it's a good meeting tomorrow night and both teams give the fans a good nights racing. It's going to be interesting that's for sure. Anyway, safe journey for any Tigers fans venturing down.
-
This is the thing how would we know how long it's been in unless those governing the sport say. A bit crap now if other Czech riders want to come to Britain or teams look to other Czech riders as that's knackered for them isn't it which I feel is unfair.
-
I see what you are saying. The question is how many outside the BSPA know it's not recognised until this come up They knew he was racing, but maybe didn't know they couldn't get a rider from the same league. I don't know. Either way we just get on with it and see what happens. They can only do their best tomorrow night. I bet many never thought Workington would beat the Tigers. Speedway is certainly unpredictable.
-
So if Kus didn't go he loses out and gets penalised and no doubt the promoters would get a fine if they refused to allow him to go even though the BSPA don't acknowledge what he's racing in.
-
Won't stop me going win, lose or draw but I agree it dosn't do the sport good even from what others have put about promoters and management knowing when they signed Kus. It just seems the BSPA couldn't give a stuff and they do or allow what they want when it suits. Then again they are used to making rules up then changing them arn't they.
-
Can't understand how the BSPA Don't recognise the league. Speedway is speedway isn't it? or is it the BSPA making rules to suit them when it suits.

The boys were on fire tonight. I said to Tobi about getting a win tonight and he said "I will try" Try? he was on the boil with Kus. "Iccle" B Andersen was good to watch and was impressed with the Mildura Monsoon Jordan Stewart and given it was doubtful if he was going to race in my mind he didn't let him down and rode a good night. Well done to the Redcar Cubs too on their win. I spoke with a couple of Newcastle fans and had a bit of craic with them as they said they come to as many Redcar meetings as they can as they love seeing good racing at our track. -
Always enjoyed ya man on the mic on Saturday nights. Looking forward to the Saturday nights we can get there as Fridays are out unfortunately.

Makes me laugh at how many fortune tellers there is on here. Why not just wait and see what the plans are from Redcar you never know plans might just be something you haven't guessed about yet. -

Because they don't like change. As usual some spout and judge, but there will be work going on behind the scenes to accommodate more parking, better facilities, standing areas as well as the sheltered seating area. They would soon be moaning if nothing was done to change the place for the meeting. Those that are moaning and are coming to the meeting then gripe afterwards if the place is not your standard not before. -

One of the lads at work mentioned Jacob as a possible rider at Peterborough. Would be good to see him ride a full season in the UK. -

Makes me laugh when you see fans in footy going crackers at each other. It's only a game lol. Go enjoy it and come home. Life is too short to be causing fights n arguments over a sport. Cheeky banter at the meeting or on here is only pee taking between us all. -

Shouldn't be that way though as we are all Speedway fans at the end of the day and at the end of the night the best team wins. Personally I would rather have a bit of banter with the other teams supporters. I do when at Workington. -

LMAO How can you call it a dump when Newcastle is know as Rough Park The stands get full when Diamonds go? OMG this is so funny you should do stand up. The only reason we see Diamonds fans there is because they go to appreciate a decent track, but leave in tears when beaten haha. Don't hurry back this season to our dump will ya lol -

When was the last time a Fours meeting was at Redcar for comments to be made about it? Makes me laugh people saying it should be here or there. Well it's at Redcar this year and i'm sure the promotion will do their best to make it a good day for all Speedway fans going to watch it. -
Met ya new Co-Promoter tonight Mr Phillips and I wish the team well this season as it could of gone the other way and no Speedway.

Peterborough Panthers 2018
Speedway4ever replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
How can you say not a very good one when he hasn't had the chance to race last season properly for a team? I have watched him race at individual meetings and the lad done bloody well with a third overall at the Caledonian Riders event. He done well at a Berwick meeting, Julie Lewis and the Silver Helmet scored Nine points only outscored to get in the finals. The lad raced against more well known and riders doing more events last year and beat them. I hope it's not too late for him to get a ride somewhere this season. -
Stop living in the past. What happened before should be left there. I personally wanted to see Tobi Busch and Jacob Bukhave in the team. Tobi said last year he wasn't coming back, but has changed his mind and will great to be seen this season. Kus coming in will be a good thing for some and not for others, but we are not riding these bikes. I wish him and the rest of the lads a very successful season and each team in the League have strived in their own way given the budgets that they ALL have to have that Elite team. I'm just looking forward to seeing good speedway again no matter who they race against.

Like Boz said Improved viewing areas are being worked on, more catering vans to be planned, Car parking being looked and and some other places sorted. Even outside if those footy fans can get away with parking their cars all over and the Police and Council doing nothing about them then it shouldn't be a problem. The track is one of the best in Speedway and there will be good action on it. i'm sure the true Speedway fans will come and watch while the yappers will continue to yap. It should be as great days entertainment.
