I think it’ll be tight. Both teams should be stronger than the last time we met at Ashfield - we had Wullie Lawson take seven rides and only score two. Drew Kemp performing well is key if Edinburgh are to take anything from the meeting.

And you know the circumstances of both clubs, their ability to stage meetings on an ‘off race night’? Do you genuinely believe Edinburgh and Leicester wanted to drag things out to the extent they have been just to be awkward? Give me a break. Not really. I think a lot of us are bored with the entitled Pirates moaning their faces off because there is a little fixture congestion. It’s not like Friday and tonight were ideal situations for Edinburgh or Leicester. Also, good luck to Glasgow for getting high profile meetings at Ashfield.

I think the point on having additional medical cover is a fair one however you can see the temptation as a promotion to save money on something that is needed relatively infrequently when the whole operation is run on a shoe string. On a positive note there were almost 180 people watching the stream on Friday which is pretty much double what we’ve had in recent weeks. Hopefully they all tune in again on Tuesday.

I agree. Their win at Armadale was a bit of a freak. An on song top four with Kemp scoring well at reserve too means were a different beast.
