I think whatever the back story the Worrall situation it has meant Edinburgh possibly need to rethink a little. I’d have thought Glasgow would have announced a couple by now. Brennan and Cook being the obvious.

Possibly or again Redcar/Riss assumed he wouldn’t be needed so started talking before given “official permission”. All speculation but that’s what this time of year is all about.

“Riss is going to Redcar”….. unless his parent club want him back presumably. He’s not been announced there as far as I can see? 2015 season has just been added to EMTV+ Whetting out appetite by showing us some Riss magic?

I suspect like all of these things the misunderstanding occurs because assumptions were made.

Unless you were party to any discussions I don’t see how you can give a view either way on the Worrall situation.

Didn't realise he'd scored so strongly for them tbh. It would be odd for them to completely discount those scores given he did actually score them so it demonstrates his ability so should be used for averages no? Glasgow should be lobbying for whatever way benefits them obviously!

Without looking at the detail it'll push him up you'd think given how good he's been for Glasgow?

Those of us who support teams in the second tier have known for ages that it’s the superior league. Adding Oxford will only strengthen that and I am very much looking forward to seeing them at Armadale and also hopefully paying a visit when Edinburgh race there.

I get what you’re saying and I have great admiration for (most) promoters - it is a thankless task for the majority of the time. While they do finance it I would argue that fans finance it more or just as much - albeit not with the same pressures and risk. I just feel a fresh and different perspective in the BSPA meetings would help.

Don’t you think the clubs being in precarious positions is linked to the fact no-one knows what is happening one year to the next? Fear of laying down commitments because things might change in 12 months time. It’s baby steps on things but for instance I’d like to see the clubs get together and work out a plan for a streaming service. Let’s bypass the tv deals and manage it ‘in-house’. Some sort of season pass allowing you to watch x number of meetings per season would be popular IMO.
