  7. I was comparing Lakeside Hammers 2015 fixtures against West Ham Hammers fixtures from 1965...50 years ago. The league in 1965 had 18 teams against today's Elite league's 8. Look at the riders who appeared at West Ham in 1965 and consider the fixtures; WC Qualifier British Final Vagarna touring team. Does anyone not know why EL attendances are so low?.

  13. My Grandfather introduced my Mother to speedway and she introduced me. Grandad and Nan lived in Millwall so We could easily have been New Cross fans. But...Grandad and Mum were born in Poplar and Grandad was a Lightrman in east India Docks, so New Cross's loss was West Ham's gain.
