  1. Why no Berge in heat 11?! Do Glasgow not want to win?!
  2. Never seen a bad EL meeting here. What's going on?! Only passes not due to mistakes was when Palovara gated and was passed by both Panthers.
  3. Which is fine but that was comparable to Garrity and Newmans. So if you're kicking out Garrity, Newman and Kerr you have to do the same for Worrall.

  5. Worall is an odd place to put the limit seeing as he averages 1.5 more in the PL than any draft riders last year and the difference in the EL between him, Newman and Garrity was negligible. Kerr and Blackbird were some way ahead.
  6. Blackbird too good? Did you see him at your place on Monday?
  7. Local entrepreneur can make a few £££. Got and buy 50 copies, sell them to Swindon fans for double the price on Monday! TBH, for the price of a paper I'd buy 3 or 4 for myself. 45p for half a pint and a hot dog. So for less that £3 that 3 pints and 6 hot dogs! I'd be stuffed and slightly merry!
  8. Nothing to stop them popping in Tesco to buy a paper.
  9. I'd pick Fricke over Summers pretty much every time personally.
  10. Doesn't mean some of us can't see some of the issues. I remember saying 2 Novembers ago, get the two reserves right and even if you mess up your top 5, by virtue of having a good reserve you can strengthen up. Do it the other way around and you're screwed. If it's taken the BSPA a season and a half to work out what I worked out pre-first season of the draft then more fool them. As luck would have it, it's my team that has gain from the BSPAs inability to predict the consequences of any rushed rule changes. IMO, the draft should work as it does now BUT the points limit should be for the whole 1-7 and if Coventry want to keep Garrity and Sarj, it should mean having less points for the 1-5. The picks are still done in the same order (bottom of the league first) but Coventry can agree to swap, for example, with Lakeside and take Birks for Garrity but Coventry then get Lakesides position in the draft too. Coventry may prefer to have Birks and save 3 points on team building where as Lakeside just want a good reserve.
  11. The issues for you guys is that most EL lower order rides are already riding PL anyway
  12. Ronni Pedersen made his brother look like an angel!
  13. It's not to do with rolling averages. Rolling averages are actually keeping the Coventry averages up higher, not lower. It's all down to having a good reserve in the case of Coventry - when your reserve is your number 1 by average you're always likely to have an advatanage.
  14. 5000 people at Cardiff would be crap. As would 10,000 people. This about this for a second, Wales play their football games at the Cardiff City football stadium because it's not worth opening the Millenium Stadium. Due to the costs of opening for the public there break even figure will be quite high. If it paid to only have 5,000 people in there then the stadium would be used every weekend with some obscure sport taking place.
  15. What conspiracy theory? Did you read the post?
  16. 21 posts, 3 4 of them attacking me, and one more attacking someone else. I'm not sure you get this discussion forum thing. At least I post when it's a rumour and don't post things as facts when they're not.
  17. Because the whole idea of Cardiff is that it's a one off. Have another meeting the week before and people will pick one or the other. I'd imagine to make it worth while opening the stadium (insurance, and standard costs) you have to get x amount of people in there, would two meetings do that?
  18. Through gritted teeth! Sadly I was in the wrong Cardiff Council had to win one eventually!
  19. Swindon need to score 12 points Bv don't. Thats either 3 big away wins, or BV losing at home 4 times or some combo of the two - I can't see that happening.
  20. The van is often parked up in Pencraig too, where the road drops down to 50. They also often have cameras checking for tax on the bridge as you come down the big hill into Monmouth. Also on the M4 through Newport, theres cameras on a few of the gantries with variable speed limits. If you want to know what ones have cameras just look on the other side of the road and if you can see the camera then your side has a camera too (the second gantry after the Brynglas tunnel has a camera for a start) Also be careful of the bus lanes in Cardiff. I cut across the end of one last month (literally the last 2 or 3 metres) and got fined £30 - had I known I was going to be charged £30 I'd have used the lane form the very bloody start and saved 20 minutes in traffic! In short, once you leave the M50 at Ross on Wye the buggers are out to get you.
  21. Surely the thread title is wrong? People know about this and seem to want to attend. While there was a meeting no Sky last night that must have been even more secret as there was nobody there!!
  22. It's a stupid way to do it. Charge those there the other day less. Peterborough on Wednesday is odd too - if you have an offer make it available to everyone. At first I thought Swindon buy in advance but not on the day was odd but it worked and thinking about it, I like it. People have to commit before the day/weather - and its too easy to get home from work, cook the tea and decide, "sod it, cant be bothered". British Speedway should introduce a "Sky meetings for a fiver" offer but ONLY if bought in advance.
