Berwick V Peterborough (on Sky) Wed, July 8th
SCB replied to crescent girl's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
After the same man gave duff info to Sheffield about what Proctor needed to do for a work permit, maybe other clubs should stop taking his advice. His Wolves talk-ins/forums ever winter he spreads terrible rumours too. -

This is how I would do it. Or the university halls as they're walkable distance and I think it's about £40 a person per night. -

I don't get people who do this. If you want to go to Cardiff, go to Cardiff. As soon as you're having to get in a car at the end of the night and drive somewhere, you may as well drive home. -

Because if they announce it while the regulars are at the meeting, the people at home will get on the phone and book the hotels for next year leaving those in the stadium buggered for next year! Anyway, ask the hotels what date it's going to be. They all know in advance when the big events are going to be. -
Nah, I got in with that one last week on general discussions
-
Yeah, Chris Harris with his 8.80 heat 15 average. Chris Harris who has won or paid won 3 last heat deciders in the last week. Chris Harris has a bloody great record for Coventry of stepping up to the plate when a big ride is needed. Wrong rider to critisize. There are plenty of riders who "bottle" heat 15, plenty of riders who give up when at the back. Harris does neither.

Glasgow V Sheffield Lc Semi 1st Leg 30 June 2015
SCB replied to SharpenRake's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
TBF, if you look on his facebook, Jason has accepted the falls were his fault. If it's good enough for him then it should be for the fans. -
Maybe they see me stumbling in, chatting more crap than normal 5 minutes before tapes up and decide it's not worth the hassle every year and just let me in
-
One thing Harris does NOT lack is fight and determination. What a really odd post.
-
As opposed to "Which one is he? the non-descriptive one that no one recognises"
-
Weirdly, no. See your last post for a clue - assuming I have managed to crack your code
-
Do they actually stop people? in my experience people (the British!) walk up to the security guys to be searched. Just walk up to the turnstile and then walk to your seat and nobody searches you.
-
I'm not sure it's any kind of vendetta, they're just bloody inept! From the poorly worded rule book, to the creep with the reading of the rules to the out and out ignoring of the rules. We all remember the times we were screwed over but forget the times things went in our favour. On the other hand, I can think of one club where things always go their way!
-
Actually, it has been mentioned on the forum in the past. I remember arguing about it on here.

Swindon vs Poole in a couple of weeks time, "Darcy Ward is back :D"
-
How good is that lad?! Just got home to see heat 15, brilliant race
-
You're kidding? Lambert allowed to double up despite NOT having a PL average at the start of the season. Palm Toft on 5.25 when the rules say he should be 7.50. The BSPA have done all they can to help Peterborough this season.

I'd expect him to at the very least get close. I can see AJ droping down a bit and obviously Hampel will drop out too. BUT I didn't think wildcards and reserves points counted for qualification - I've not checked the rules and tbf, I can't think of a time it mattered before (Loram '99 and Hans '05(?)) were wildcards and not reserves. I guess if he makes top 8 or 9 he has to have a wildcard really. Makes sense. Looking at the rider in the meeting so far, I hope it's him and he qualifies. -
Of course. And they'll want to win any meeting. But even if they lose they'll have enough in hand to make the play-offs anyway, IMO.
-
Exactly. He's clearly signed for Swindon.
-
ACU (British) Wozniak cannot double up for the same reason Lambert couldn't last year. no previous average.
-
Why worry about BV? It's Swindon they need to stay ahead of. I doubt they'll care if they're 3rd or 4th really.
-
TBF, if I was a Peterborough fan I'd keep quiet about the BSPA getting things wrong after they let MPT sign no 5.5 and not the 7.5 the rules say he should be. Must admit, although the wording of the rule suggests they're right to block this I'd suggest the rule is worked incorrectly based on what the rule used to be and is going the other way. Someone messed up writing the rulebook. It would also have made far more sense to have allowed the signing from the POV that Peterborough would have had a full 1-7 and thats always better than R/R.

Hopefully 3 riders will realise they have a family wedding that day or something and Vaculik will get a chance.
